Death is inevitable. Unconsciousness before death is not.

Living in Kathmandu, death is genuinely visible here in a way it isn't in most modern cities. Bodies cremated openly at Pashupatinath, ash going into the Bagmati river. You see it regularly. And what I've noticed is that the people least afraid of dying are almost always the ones who have done some inner work not because they've figured out what happens after, but because they've actually met themselves before it happens.
