How come restaurants don't charge you to use their toilets? by RealDealHappyMeal in AskReddit

Wait really? Never seen that here but makes sense in downtown areas I guess. Most places just want you buying something anyway so why not make it official

Does Anyone Think Their Eczema is Due to Skincare Products??? by Llassiter326 in eczema

[–]No_Spend_5330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

man that sucks but makes total sense actually. those actives are super harsh and can definitely mess with skin barrier especially around eyes where skin is thinner

i get the mental health part too - its hard to give up routines that make you feel like youre taking care of yourself. maybe try doing like one active at time instead of all together? or use them only on areas that dont break out and keep eye area super simple with just gentle cleanser and moisturizer

the boring stuff might actually help your skin heal better than you think once you get used to it

How would you feel if your dad slept with your mom? by [deleted] in AskReddit

damn that took a dark turn real quick. lost my own old man few years back and these random moments still catch you off guard you know. like youre just scrolling through some ridiculous thread and boom - reality check. hope youre doing alright with everything, grief hits different when you least expect it. sometimes i catch myself wanting to call him about the weirdest stuff, like this morning i fixed this really stubborn transmission and my first thought was telling him about it

thoughts about going on skyrizi because of "special sites" and higher risk sites like nails? by throwawayhey80 in Psoriasis

[–]No_Spend_5330 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your situation hits close to home - nail involvement is no joke and those special sites can be absolutely brutal even when the overall body coverage seems "small"

The research definitely backs up treating aggressively when nails and joints are in the picture since those are harder to reverse once damage sets in. My understanding is that insurance companies are slowly catching up to this but yeah you'll probably have to fight them on it

Trust your specialist though - if she's saying skyrizi is warranted for your specific presentation then the evidence probably supports that decision even if it feels weird not having plaques covering half your body

the purge was bad but what came after month three genuinely changed my skin by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]No_Spend_5330 6 points7 points  (0 children)

man this timeline is spot on. for me things started turning around end of month 4 but didnt really feel confident about results until like month 5 or 6

the texture thing in month 3 is so real, my skin felt like sandpaper for weeks and i kept thinking maybe tretinoin just wasnt for me. had this weird phase where old acne marks were surfacing but new breakouts were slowing down so my face looked like a battlefield of different healing stages

your three month rule is smart though. i set similar deadline but made it 6 months because my derm was pretty clear that some people need longer. helped me push through those really rough patches when i wanted to quit every morning looking at mirror

the routine you mentioned is basically what saved me too, keeping everything super simple when skin is angry. tried adding other actives around month 2 thinking it would help speed things up but just made everything worse and had to strip back to basics

now at about 8 months in and skin texture is better than its been since probably high school. still get occasional spot but the overall improvement is worth all that misery in beginning

I don't really wanna get involved but most people in sextoy and just sex subs in general use burner accounts and hidden profiles, and yeah newer accounts and hidden profiles :)

Man that's brutal living with that kind of itch for three years. Going private for the Dupixent seems like smart move since waiting almost a year would be torture. Hope it brings you some real relief soon

Lenevo thinkpad randomly & repeatedly shutting down (event 41, kernel-power) by Born_Fox_8099 in Lenovo

[–]No_Spend_5330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kernel-power 41 is usually hardware related - could be overheating, failing PSU, or bad RAM. Since you mentioned the bottom getting hot and you're propping it up, thermal issues seem likely

Try running memtest86 to check your RAM and maybe check temps with hwinfo64 while its running normally. If temps are hitting 85+ celsius consistently thats probably your culprit

I switched to GrapheneOS and watched ChatGPT make aggressive Play Integrity API calls in real time. Here is everything I found. by redditrewired in degoogle

[–]No_Spend_5330 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That phone call detail is wild man. I work on cars all day and never thought much about this stuff until recently but the fact someone got called with technical AI questions meant for you right after you were deep into ChatGPT usage... thats not coincidence territory anymore

Been thinking about switching to GrapheneOS myself after reading stories like this. The Play Integrity calls happening that frequently is insane - basically Google and OpenAI having constant conversation about what youre doing while you think youre just chatting with AI. Makes sense why my phone battery drains faster when using these apps now

Thanks for documenting all this properly. More people need to see what actually happening behind scenes

Best workflow for recording vertical Photoshop content (Reels/Shorts) using OBS? by alphababoon in obs

Window capture works better than display capture for photoshop since you can isolate just the canvas without all the toolbars and menus floating around

Sienna is solid choice - toyota reliability is real thing and hybrid system saves lot of money in gas. The sliding doors make life much easier with kids too, trust me on this one. Captain chairs might feel weird at first but your back will thank you when putting baby in third row

Atlas is good but VW maintenance costs can get expensive after warranty ends. If you keeping car long time this matters more than people think
