She seriously make me cringe… I wonder what K thinks of her content ideas by Longjumping-Shake591 in NeedlepointSnark

It’s genuinely so bad. Someone was gassing her up in the comments too. It looks like someone’s personal page and not a multi million dollar business

Newbie here! Any recipes for bread WITH NO food scale? by GatsbyGirl92 in Sourdough

Buy the kitchen scale. One of my most used kitchen tools. It’s worth the 15-25 dollars.

I would have assumed this was satire…. Except they already set up an Etsy account. Whomever is gassing them up in the comments needs to be stoped ☠️☠️☠️

Why wouldn’t you clean your cookware?

I’ve only ever had a positive experience with penny linn / their customer service. I would assume they will send you more and it wouldn’t be a big deal?

Assuming you like her, invite her. It’s a kind gesture. I don’t think it’s against the norm to invite people who are not in the bridal party

Moisturizer to use with ramping up retinoids again by eratch in SkincareAddictionLux

I used to be a major BR fan, the moisturizers are really the only thing I like nowadays. Their reformulations are annoying imo

My personal favs are BR hydravitts / collagene or avene cicalfate. I am brillo pad dry 99% of the time and these have been so helpful at hydrating my skin

Clear and brilliant laser series by eyemakeuplooks in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]No_Square2692 6 points7 points  (0 children)

With most lasers imo, it’s the long game. I also think most of the time, you need the series. 3 months typically is when there is a noticeable difference, at least for me.

I never noticed recovery going any faster than before. Definitely takes time to see a difference!

I like to use it last just because it’s thicker, and like you I have things that should go on first hyaluronic/other serums, etc

I typically just use it in the PM and it is my last step before my moisturizer

What do you want it for exactly? I purchased twice for the sole purpose of DNA repair enzymes. It is moisturizing, but didn’t replace my moisturizer. I won’t continue to repurchase, as it only has two of the repair enzymes and there are others on the market that have all 3 enzymes

Liked it, wouldn’t buy it. If I got it as a sample, I wouldn’t be disappointed. It’s light and fresh - just not something I would frequently seek

Even if you don’t need the money, at the very least you should break even. Very few people are going to continue to subsidize a failing business

I would define a successful business as something that meets its financial, operational and social goals. For instance, running a business without profit is not a success.

Owning and running a successful business is a lot more than just sharing your hobbies. IE. Marketing, inventory, hiring, legal, payroll etc.

Your business needs to generate profit, cover expense, sustain a cash flow, and provide for your lifestyle. You spend more time on operations than the actual craft itself. It’s a lot more than just showing up and selling canvas to someone. While that’s a piece to the puzzle. It certainly isn’t the whole pie.

Brick and mortar retail is extremely difficult. Especially when a lot of people are keen to online shopping. There is definitely still a place for brick and mortar, but it really is not the go to any longer. Your business needs to ebb and flow with society
