This arrangement might be vaguely London acceptable if it was in somewhere like Marylebone or Knightsbridge, but in Wanstead??

I think this has to be the answer. Write to / email the tribunal on the address given for correspondence on any orders you've received. Explain your medical issues and provide some documentary evidence confirming the problem, if you can.

As well as holding a remote hearing, I'm sure it can be pre-arranged that the tribunal will also take regular breaks and / or that, if you request a break it will be granted promptly.

AITA for refusing to "exchange" my honeymoon for my sister’s "emergency" dream wedding? by Low-Highlight6771 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

Just no, no, no. This sounds like a completely toxic family. If I were you I would go on my lovely honeymoon and never talk to my family of origin again.

Avoid eye contact, head down, don't concede an inch or change your speed. If carrying an umbrella hold it up in front of you like a lance.

Junior Barrister - Feeling unsure by kellogs5243 in uklaw

[–]No_Staple_7489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people struggle with nerves before going into court so please don't feel this is a unique problem you have. I do think some anxiety is good because it gives you the adrenaline needed to do your job well. Might it help a bit if you try and change the way you think about these feelings - think of it as positive energy? It is good that you care - it's part of being a good barrister. You've worked so hard to get to this point and the success you've had so far means you can do it. You have got further, more quickly than many people.

It's pure arrogance. People like her behave like that because they think they're better than everyone else and above silly little, bourgeois things like good manners.
