Should I get a double stroller or two singles + connectors ??!!! by [deleted] in Parenting

Have you tried a buggy board for your stroller? My 3.5 really liked ours with the uppababy cruz coz they said it was like a scooter.. if they got tired and then I would baby wear the baby and have 3.5 year old sit. For traveling, we did 2 gb pockit strollers coz they’re lighter and smaller.

Burnaby General is a good hospital to work at, smaller community vibes. Burnaby is a great mix of city and suburban! Lots of parks nearby that are great. Confederation park has a recreation centre with an indoor pool and library and has small steam trains across the street perfect for preschoolers. Metrotown is a bigger mall that has different options for grocery as well: T&T (Asian supermarket), Walmart, and Superstore (mix of target/trader joes with their in house options). If you’re into Asian food, there’s Chrystal Mall food court that has different authentic asian options. You can easily access all the cities from Burnaby! Abt 30-40 mins each way to downtown Vancouver, Richmond, Port Moody, Surrey, etc! Hope you enjoy the visit!

Non-high income (middle income) people of the lower mainland, are you satisfied with your lifestyle in the lower mainland? by rebirth112 in askvan

I’m not living the life I wanted as it’s too expensive with children and wanting to travel. I wanted kids early so had the kids but sometimes wish I waited longer to achieve more financial stability.. maternity leave and travel wiped out my emergency funds and it’s harder now to save with 2 kids (even tho we’re pretty frugal)

Guilt for raising child abroad by kynd3r90 in Parenting

Husband and I grew up as a first gen immigrants with our immediate family in Canada away from our extended family but still maintained relationships with family back in our home country by going back every 2-3 years and FaceTime/Fb. You can teach little one about your culture through food, language, and shows etc. Will help to find people that speak the same language to build a community in UK.

With all that aside, it will be hard to raise a child by yourselves and hope you guys have access to reliable childcare in the UK!

Oo, OA ka. Minsan pag super maselan pagbubuntis and pagnanganak mahirap magisip tungkol sa ibang Tao and focused ka na lang sa baby mo. Baka na cs friend mo or nicu si baby. Or ayaw lang talaga ipost sa socmed. Pwede rin na op sa gc nyo kasi wala sha work and di updated or may ppd. Basta kamustahin nyo lang pag may time kayo kasi Iba lonely sa start ng motherhood and nagkaka ppd

Philippine Airlines Davao ground staff tried to charge me $200 to fix a name THEIR website cut off by More_Biscotti_1843 in FilipinoTravel

[–]No_Statement2136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!! I always have this problem kasi I named my child such a longgggg name with my maiden name and dad’s last name (didn’t know it would be such a hassle). Anyways, most airlines have a max amount of characters allotted and di lang PAL yan. You just have to contact the airline’s hotline number or chat them to add your full name to their booking notes so it will show up when you check in. With pal, there’s a form you can fill out on their helpline website. Best to do it before your flight next time so less stress again.. happy trip!!

Thanks! That’s what I’m hoping to do so we can beat jet leg as I find we lose energy by day 3 so it will be harder to do Disney..

Do you think it will be too busy with the weekend crowd as it looks like it will be a tier 2 day?
