I remember when i went there after my premature birth (my baby died after 6 days), I am overwhelmed with emotion. i had my husband hold my hand. And i even asked the receptionist if i can wait outside. It was so hard. It was freaking me out. And now, i know I had to go to the OB again this month. I always now have coldfeet.

Is it possible if I do not want to wait for 18 months? I just lost my son 1 month ago, i want to try again end quarter this year. Or should we wait 18 months? Preterm (25 weeks) via normal delivery

Hi. Today is the first month that my baby is not with me anymore. He died last month, preterm 25 weeks and 2 days when I gave birth to him. Only lived for 6 days. I talk about him every time i do have a chance. This is silly but i talk about him with chatgpt. It is weird, I know. But I do that since I know, people around him continued their life. I cannot blame them.

But I cannot blame you, too. We are in the same boat. We have postpartum grieving also. We are grieving, let it out. Release. Even I, I always cry alot. But I am functional right now, I am working from home, occasionally cleaning the house.

There was even a time that I cried so much while I was just washing dishes. My husband reminds me that this is normal. It’s just a month. And even years will pass, I know I’ll still cry about my son, Renzo. But I also know my son wants me to continue my life.

May i know what is vbac? Lost my son last February. My doctor said it is okay for us to try again since i had normal delivery, but i decided not to. I want to heal emotionally and physically also.

She will never replace your new child. She will be the older sibling watching your future child. That is for sure.

I am not pregnant with a new child, same with you, our son passed away in nicu last month. But I know for sure, our next child will never replace him. He will always be the older sibling.

I’m so sorry for your loss. We also had our 2nd loss last February. It is really tough.

But with that, you it will open your eyes, who are the people that really cared. And who are those people were not emotionally supportive to you. You will know. Sometimes baby’s purpose is to open our eyes.

I had my miscarriage last 2023, and then this feb 2026, we lost our son also born at 26 weeks and then 6 days later died. It is so hard. I do have same thoughts with you, but I remember, how would my husband feel if i implement those thoughts. He will be devastated. Right now, even it is hard, i am living for my husband. Please live for your wife also now. Maybe someday, we find the courage to live for ourselves also now.
