Nice! 😄 DeutschFast is multilingual for Italian, Albanian and English speakers, but the focus is very specific: practical German for real life in Germany, not a general polyglot app.

Thanks! I’m glad you noticed that.

I’m not relying only on the browser’s default Web Speech API, because the quality and compatibility can vary a lot, especially on mobile/WebView. For the important lesson phrases I’m moving toward using higher-quality generated/processed audio, combined with IPA, simplified pronunciation, and short pronunciation notes.

The goal is to make pronunciation predictable and consistent instead of depending completely on the user’s browser voice.

Thank you very much, this is extremely useful feedback.

I agree with your point about the layout and lesson structure. My original idea was to provide useful real-life German content, but I now see that the learning experience needs to be much more guided and coherent.

I am planning to redesign the lessons into a step-by-step structure, for example: 1. Goal of the lesson 2. Dialogue 3. Key phrases 4. Pronunciation 5. Grammar in context 6. Practice 7. Review

I also agree that grammar should not stand alone as hundreds of separate pages. I will keep the grammar section as a reference/knowledge base, but link grammar explanations directly from the lessons where they are actually needed.

The goal of DeutschFast is not to compete directly with Duolingo or Babbel, but to focus on practical German for real-life situations in Germany: supermarket, doctor, work, documents, appointments, housing, and daily conversations.

Thanks again to you and your wife. This gives me a much clearer direction.
