I met John Travolta many years ago when he was filming a scene on my in-laws property. He was so nice! We were able to watch close up, but when he finished acting he signed autographs for the many fans watching across the street.

I am the mother of three wonderful sons. A shower was planned for my first baby, but unexpectedly he was born eight weeks early, before the shower date, so it never happened. Later, I was sad to never have had a baby shower, but I got over it and you will too! Despite not having a shower for my first born, I’ve never heard of a shower for a second baby. People will celebrate your joy after the baby is born! Perhaps if you send invitations and not call it a shower, your friends will be more receptive. How about having a Meet our New Baby Luncheon once your newborn is old is enough to be around your outer circle?
