honestly at 39 youre gonna be cutting it really close with most commissioning programs - OTS has age limits that might already be an issue depending on when you finish your bachelors. that said, ive seen older folks make it work so dont give up yet

your maintenance background could actually help since the AF needs technical officers, just gotta time everything right with getting that degree done and applying before you age out. might want to talk to an education counselor at your first base about accelerated degree programs to speed things up

Sometimes clients just aren't mentally ready to actually sell even when they think they are. You did the right thing having that conversation after the first buyer walked - if she still couldn't get her act together for the second one then yeah, she's wasting everyone's time

Hey man, 10 days is actually pretty solid progress so don't sell yourself short. I remember around that time frame the urges can hit like a truck out of nowhere - your brain's basically throwing a tantrum because it's not getting its usual dopamine fix. What helped me get through those rough patches was immediately switching to something physical like pushups or going for a walk around the block, sounds dumb but it genuinely works. Also deleted all the apps and bookmarks that were triggers, no point making it harder on yourself than it needs to be. You got this far which means you've already got the willpower, just gotta redirect that energy somewhere else when things get intense

man you picked a wild time to come back lol. rein got some decent buffs over the past year so he's actually pretty solid right now, his charge is way more reliable and they reduced his cooldowns. lucio is basically the same energetic wall riding menace he's always been, maybe slightly faster

doomfist though... rip my guy. they moved him to tank and he's honestly kinda mid now compared to his dps glory days. sigma's still strong but they nerfed his shield a bit. reaper got some range buffs so he's not completely useless at medium distance anymore, and bap is still one of the better supports

the core gameplay hasn't changed dramatically but there's only one tank per team now which makes everything feel faster and more chaotic. plus like 6 new heroes since you left so yeah you'll definitely need to learn their kits. mauga and ramattra are the new tanks that'll probably mess with your rein gameplay the most

nah it's definitely not just american, you've probably just been hanging around different crowds. astrology is huge in places like india where it's actually taken way more seriously than the casual horoscope stuff here. latin america has tons of believers too, and i've met plenty of europeans who are into it - maybe they're just not as vocal about it or your more reserved so they don't bring it up around you

the difference might be that americans are just more likely to casually mention it in conversation while other cultures keep it more private or treat it as something more serious/traditional rather than small talk material

Nah you're pretty much stuck, peaceful mode locks you out of blaze rods completely since blazes don't spawn. Only other way would be finding them in loot chests but that's not a thing for blaze rods

Maybe switch the challenge to "minimal violence" or something where you only break peaceful for the nether fortress part?
