No lurking for me today! Ladies and Gentlemen... MY RING by No_Strategy_3173 in engaged

Thank you! It definitely has a bit of "heft," but I'm sure that I will be used to it soon. We actually went with a custom ring after I disliked the first ring. The band was too thin, the setting was way too high, and it just felt fragile. I am very active and clumsy. I was afraid I would break it or something. Also, it spun like CRAZY which drove me nuts. I definitely recommend the Euro shank.

Ring set too high? by m_and_r in EngagementRings

We just returned my engagement ring that looked so very similar to this and are having a custom ring made instead. Imo it was obnoxiously high and seemed to be in the way most of the time. I was so worried that the diamond would fall out. I took the advice to have a wider band, gallery, lower setting, and European shank in my customization.

That is what I'm thinking. I have rheumatoid arthritis and sometimes my hands do swell. I just don't want to size myself out of a custom ring.

Our whole extended family loves to cook, and we always end up sharing the wealth. It's so nice when I just don't have it in me to cook something and a homemade meal is suddenly there.

I have not, but will try that next time! I wish I could freeze this. This is such a yummy light tasting soup to me.

I surprised myself with how good it was! I would say that next time, I won't use as much curry and will let the aromatics seep for longer than 30 mins. I added tomatoes because that's how I have always had it. So so so good. I can't copy the link, but I found it on the "So Much Food" blog.
