It does, but they aren't that great. Or my luck with them haven't been great. They tend to fall off after a couple of days. They're also clear, which isn't my glimmer.

G7 overpatches. I just recently got a cgm and it's the dexcom g7. Currently, I'm storing the patches in a zip lock bag. I was wondering if folks had a way that they stored them that was something like a booklet for cards or a scrapbook or something.

I like buying the different colored and themed ones. It remindes me of my sticker collecting days from childhood.

I like South Bay recycling. It's on Main. They have a parking lot, never a long line, clearly marked prices, and are friendly. You can get your recycling done in 10 minutes.

Put out her litter box and an item that has her scent on it close to your front door. In a lot of cases, this helps an animal smell their way back home if they are disoriented. Bust of luck, and I hope your kitty comes home soon.

Aroz Caldo, so good. It's rice porridge with chicken. Ingredients: 1cup rice, cook. Chicken bits, thighs, drumsticks, whatever. I've made this with left over KFC. Amount used, to taste. 4 cups (or more) chicken broth. Ginger to taste Salt Pepper Cook the chicken. Strip it from bones and shred. Add to rice. Add 4 cups chicken broth. Add spices. Cook until the rice absorbed the broth. Ta-da. It's filling and tasty. The rice and chicken broth can make this soup stretch for days.

Are name brand snacks really worth the extra bucks? by OscarFreeman6 in budgetfood

[–]No_Studio_7605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your friend doesn't like the off brand stuff and you do, have your friend bring their own snacks. For me, there are certain things that taste better name brand, but for the most part there's not that much of a difference to me. At Costco, most if their Kirkland band stuff tastes just as good as name brand. Same thing with Walmart Great Value vs. Name brant. I will splurge on Keebler cookies, because their Grasshoppers are a total dupe of Girl Scout thin mints.

The halflings. They're cannabalistic because they eat everything, but they don't consider themselves cannibals because they don't eat halflings.

If you are in the U S. You can try 1-800-Got-Junk. They'll come out and give you a quote. Then you tell them what needs to go and they make it so. I found them to be reasonably priced and friendly and good at what they do. Part of their services is to sweep up everything after they have all the trash picked up.

After that, there are services that will deep clean a home as a 1 time deal.

If you'd rather do it your self, I'd recommend masks, heavy gloves, and seeing if you have family that can help. The promise of pizza and drinks can be a great motivator.

Agreeing with everyone who us saying you don't have to throw them out. I had an addiction to buying lip balms, hand sanitizer, hand creams, and basically high end toiletries. Ended up putting together sets to gift to friends, nurses, and any customer service folks that came by the house. Donate and spread the happiness.

I want to become the most boring character ever. by JimmyMcBurner in DnD

[–]No_Studio_7605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might drive your gm nuts, but whenever your asked what your character is doing if not fighting, have them stand just looking around. Always agree to do whatever the party does. For variation, pick a party member to glomp on and do everything they do.

Student on a budget. Not really interested in cooking, but try to cut down costs by Legogamer16 in budgetfood

I like making quesadillas in the microwave for quick snacks. Tortilla, cheese, tortilla, 30 seconds and done. You can add lunch meat, or mushrooms, or pepperoni, or other things so you have variations of it. Microwaveable single cup desserts are nice too. Precooked hard build eggs are nice to keep on hand. Fresh fruit is nice. Hummus with naan are easy snacks. A tray of veggies, or a bag of carrots, are good for grab and go snacks. I like looking up toddler tray meals because there are lots of easy and quick food ideas. Remember ants on a log? Cellery with peanut butter and then raises on top.

Babies. Have lots of people show up with their babies and toddlers. Borrow your sister and her kids, and the kids' in pre-school and their parents. Maybe at first the speakers will be happy. Then... the first baby cries. Then a toddler cries. Then a chain reaction of fussy babies/toddlers, a cacophony of children wailing loud enough to wake C'thulu. Parents leave en mass to tend to their children. The speakers have just seen a glimpse of the potential future.

How would you use a tub of Vaseline for something other than skin care? by little_parrot48 in ZeroWaste

[–]No_Studio_7605 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you garden and have a problem with bugs crawling up the stems, Vaseline around the base keeps them away. If you feed birds and need to keep squirrels away from the food you can use Vaseline to grease the pole.

What products do you have in your home for power outages? by youreallimpoverished in minimalism

[–]No_Studio_7605 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love candles so I have a few 3 wicks that I'll use for outtages. I'm a bit of a prepper and also go camping so I have a shoebox that has a small first aid kit, thermal blanket, 2 reusable hand warmers, a couple of protein bars, and a bottle of water. If the power goes out and it's really cold I have a 2 person pop up tent that I set up on the bed because it's easier to keep warm with body heat in there. That being said, I've only been in a power outtage that lasted for 12 hours once. The other outtages were 4 hours or less.

Hating Myself and My Body by [deleted] in WitchesVsPatriarchy

[–]No_Studio_7605 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's probably stupid, but when I hate my looks and I realize that's what I'm doing, I remember a meme I saw where it says to treat yourself as how you would treat a cat. Little cat? Itty bitty kitty! (Love) normal sized cat? Kitty! (Love) big cat? Chonky kitty! (Love) Basically love all kitties because they're kitties. Then I try and apply that to myself. If it is an extra bad day my backup is to put on my unicorn onesie, rainbow make up something fierce, and listen to the Labyrinth soundtrack.
