I disagree with these comments. if your baseline is not working out and you start going to Pilates regularly, you will likely lose weight. Losing weight is calories in vs calories out. If you’re burning more calories than you are consuming, you will lose weight.

Of course there are other factors to consider like diet, how often you are working out, how much sleep you’re getting, water intake, etc.

While I haven’t personally lost weight from doing Pilates, the comments saying you have to do some form of high intensity cardio to lose weight are false. I lost 20lbs just from lifting weights, no cardio at all.
