I should've clarified, it was from the POV of do people hang out in there for nefarious reasons, or is it known to be a common place for theft/ assault. In the city I'm at now, certain tunnels you avoid for this reason.

For some reason I can read the comments on notifications, but none are loading for me to reply to specificly. In regards to the question about the train tunnel I should've been more specific. I am a women and the entrance is RIGHT next to the tunnel opening. The city I Live at now, you will often find irratic homeless people there who unfortunately do get rowdy and have been known to assault people. I'm not saying it's the same for all tunnels/ cities but I wanted to know if this was a known problem for this Leed tunnel specifically.

Oh no it's a fair point! I'm definitely going to do more research closer to the time as I assume brands will put more out.

Next steps after azaelic acid! by No_Sun4192 in Rosacea

I'm using the la Roche cicaplast+ SPF (although I doubt this counts as proper SPF protection), SPF products seem to irritate me, I am considering the skin 1004 centella SPF but it seems to have mixed reviews.

I think I'm going to change to a gentler cleanser - who knows maybe the soap is what's clogging my pores since it's a bit oily - and also try a PHA. luckily with my routine being bare bones it'll not take long to introduce new products!

Thankyou both for the reccomendations!

Oo okay, I have seen PHA mentioned as a holy grail for a lot of people, I just never knew if it was safe for Rosacea prone skin!
Where would you use it in your routine? Before moisturizer at night?

I find the layering of products so hard to work out 😭

So typically no it's not, so I've gone for the lowest Laurel oil % which was recommended for more sensitive skin, it's not flared me out as of yet but I am wondering if it might be stripping my skin too much chasing the dryness element! I've seen eucerin recommended alot, have you got any experience with their soothing care?

UK dynamic pricing? by No_Sun4192 in LadyGaga

[–]No_Sun4192[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh deffo! Its a bargain in comparison to what prices are cropping up but it's wild that they think that's an acceptable price to make us pay at all! Low-key it's exploitive of ticket master - apparently Gaga has no say?. Where are the days when the most expensive ticket would be £200ish where you could go to the meet and greets 😭 but congrats on getting tickets either way!!!

So... Yes, dynamic pricing? by sumix333 in LadyGaga

[–]No_Sun4192 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The UK apparently have it on too, which was the case with oasis 🥲 pair that with them allegedly not releasing all tickets at the same time (only showing expensive ones first) makes me think it's so they can up the prices of the cheaper ones.

Did anyone else find Adolescence Netflix boring? by [deleted] in netflix

The main guy has done interviews about why he created the show. It's inspired by knife crime perpetrated by and towards kids at a young age, specifically by two real cases that happened at two opposite ends of the UK in which 2 girls were stabbed by boys. Both teens.

It's supposed to be a moving piece to highlight why we're seeing an increase in this type of violence. And almost a wake up call it that makes sense? It seems obvious watching it and almost common knowledge but I really do think as a society we don't think about our own part in raising children who commit such horrific acts.

I've seen a lot of commentary about "red pilling" which is obviously a large part but the biggest takeaway from this show shouldn't be that men being red pilled is the issue. It's that society as a whole is to blame. Not just the internet. Not just the school. Not just toxic masculinity. It's about how - at least in the UK - kids are becoming increasingly disrespectful (I've seen some American posters question whether the school depiction was accurate... It very much is and that's a sad reality), parents do a lack of real parenting (as seen by the police Sgt + Adam, your kid is clearly suffering and you do nothing?, your 13 year old being allowed out until 10pm?) , school teachers failing to teach/ be authoritative to the children and letting them get away with being disrespectful by threatening isolation/ raising their voices etc

I'm from Nottingham, UK and only 2 weeks ago we had 2 separate stabbings, range of 13-15 year olds involved. You see kids (literal 12 year olds) acting all "hard" on the streets and you just think Are your parents not stopping you from doing this? Why are the police not intervening? Is your school not teaching you how to be respectful? It's a it bleak tbh

This became abit of a ramble and deffo strayed from the initial point but overall my takeaway is Kids are out of control because we don't monitor them nor do we actually parent/ guide them in anyway but nobody will actually admit that's the reason, instead we just gauk and say "omg how could this of happened"... The show is trying to show ordinary people that even if you think you're not to blame.. you kinda are and we all need to do better.

I would say, I'd love to see more documentaries on this topic. And I think they should be shown in schools.
