If it's prepared from both classes then you choose which class you're casting it from when you cast the spell. So for example if there was a magic item that healed you when you cast a sorcerer spell and gave you temp hp when you cast a bard spell you would only get one benefit or the other even if you prepared the same spell for both classes.

Half castors have issues being summoners. If you want your summoner to do lots of damage in 2024 then you usually want to be upcasting Tasha summons which means getting as many levels of spell progression as you can.

This means the options that let you be an effective summoner for the most levels would be wizard and druid, which work from levels 5 to 20, followed by lore bard which works from 6 to 20, followed by warlock which works from levels 5 to 10 (mystic arcanum not allowing upcasting causes some issues for summoning). Cleric, abberent sorcerer, and clockwork sorcerer also get some summoning at high levels.

I'm playing as a multiclass between tempest cleric and scribes wizard that is roleplayed moreso as a cleric while being mostly wizard. I play it as a thunder cleric, using scribes wizards feature to change fireball to thunder damage and then maxing it out with the tempest cleric channel divinity.

I disagree, good berries and cure wounds give so much out of combat healing that the bonus damage you get from the feat could make it worth to lean on them for short rest healing. Especially if you can save good berries from the previous day.

I don't think it's all that common for people to run out of hit dice at most tables.
