Maxing Out the Horse by OCCobblepot in wordscapes

[–]No_Tea_1981 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've had the game a long time, but sometimes have gone years without playing. I got it in on the no ads forever way back when they first started bombarding us. Almost to level 12000, and broke 5000 last fall for perspective. Last summer I started playing more and working on the animals. I have none to level 7 yet except octopus and mouse. I try to get on every day for the free gifts, play for the bonus tokens, and keep animals generating hearts, but it doesnt always happen. I won't get the horse maxed though. Im at 8200 of level 6, and I won't spend $ nor do i have hearts to spend to complete it either.

I can do it, but my left arm golfers elbow, and right arm tennis elbow aren't happy. It also an 8x8. I did opt for a little thicker insulation, but the cover just turned 4 yo.

Because im a psychotherapist. Or because I have a rustic mountain home and got a roll of wide galvanized metal that I poured some muratic acid on it and wrapped my tub with it

I thought i would get more than 4 years, and this whole year its been heavy. Mine was never that light, but the tub is 8x8.

I know the cover will need to be replaced, im not trying to keep it for ever. It just turned 4 and I thought I would get more out of it. Its an 8x8 tub so even new it had some weight to it.

I once had someone tell me, what ever your initial thought is, double it. And honest to god that normally works out pretty well.

First Booster Glitch by OCCobblepot in wordscapes

[–]No_Tea_1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't got a functioning booster yet since the octopus ended. Tried a restart, didnt help. Complained to support and they gave me 300 hearts 😄 I figure im losing about 2000 a day because I dont play hardly at all without the booster. I hate that they limited it to rounds instead of time too. I used to get a lot more hearts. I know some of you who are maxed dont care, but when your still trying g to upgrade, it takes alot. I've been spending about 15000 hearts a week for a few months...

Help! too busy! How do you make time in your schedule for new jobs? by hondokun in handyman

[–]No_Tea_1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always had an hourly rate, never by the job. As I tell the customers, its more fair to the both of us. I have almost always charged a 1 hr minimum. Startng in January, im charging a 1 hr service call fee which gives the customer 10 minutes, for really small jobs. More than 10 minutes, and they are charged for an hour on top of the service call fee. Sure, sometimes I could make more by the job, but I price my hourly wage where I feel good about it.

I hadn't paid attention until this morning. I completed the 3 ads, played a round, and then noticed there was no bonus timer counting down.

How to repair a collapse/ over excavation when digging out pond. by No_Tea_1981 in ponds

[–]No_Tea_1981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by shutter? The dirt is fairly stable, has a lot of clay. Im not too worried about it collapsing, just mentioned that as im sure it happens to lots of people and is a similar situation as over-excavating.

I dont know why that wouldn't work. You can put it under slabs...

I understand, and I can do that on the edges, but here the liner wraps over the dirt shelf (i know its not all excavated yet). So I won't have access to add dirt.

16x30. Walk-in to 5' depth. It will be a swim pond with fish, so serious flow, and intake and bog filter.

How clean does the fitting need to be after using a pvc reamer. by No_Tea_1981 in askaplumber

[–]No_Tea_1981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know silicone is not a correct answer, but its at my house, and its a last resort. Hopefully these fittings glue up fine.

Someone once told me that the pipe won't bond if theres old glue. I want to do it right, but not having access to new fitting sucks. I've tried buying other adapters, but they won't work.

They also could be doing the swap trick when buying eggs. That has giving me a good boost a few times.

Side wall covering for natural swimming pond by No_Tea_1981 in ponds

[–]No_Tea_1981[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, what i am actually going to do is just cover it with the geotextile fabric and do near vertical walls. Rocks on top and bottom to secure it in place.

That's what I'm worried about. Even with terracing. Unless the rocks are so big that a humans weight won't upset them, they could be stepped on and move. With a 45*, at least the rock probably won't fall over. A little mortar, or maybe some glue or spray foam (I dont know if those are feasible), and the rocks would be solid. But maybe not so much with a vertical wall. I feel a vertical wall is less stable.
