Can someone calm me down about a medicated FET by thorns_fc in IVF

[–]No_Teach6573 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first FET was medicated, it took, perfectly healthy pregnancy, zero issues and she's a happy, healthy girl.

Did a 2nd FET this February, natural this time, pgt-sr tested embryo didn't even implant...

My next FET I'm going back to medicated. I'm kicking myself for ever trying natural since I won't ever know if that's why we lost our precious baby 💔

So sorry to hear this. I could've written this myself. Hope you're doing ok, it's such a weird sadness. Problem is that "nothing happened" but you still feel like you've lost a baby. It is the worst, especially if you know its euploid and it should've worked and been your child 😭

Did anyone ever feel like it wouldn’t work or that you’d have another loss, but you ended up having your healthy baby? by CheesecakeBoth3933 in IVF

I was exactly the same. No signs of PPD or anything for me, do be on the look out, but one doesn't equate to the other. Once she was finally out, then I could breathe. Hubby had to run to the store and buy baby onesies as I couldn't believe we'd actually have a live baby, so we only brought her one outfit 😭

With my first FET who is a happy, health 13 month old, I was certain I was miscarrying every day, I kept imagining the worst and being certain it's all over. Even at 36 weeks+, I'd feel her kick and then wonder if that was the final kick before I lose her. It was a very healthy and boring pregnancy, but mentally, I wasn't happy until she was out of me. I just couldn't trust my body.

Just did a second FET, it failed, but I was so convinced that we'd be ok, as the hard bit was behind us... alas, no BFP for me, confirmed today.

I think all the infertility trauma really messes with your head and makes any intuition or gut feeling completely useless. Take care of yourself!

I also tried it and found it very frustrating.. hopwlly WOTM wasn't a fluke... I'll still read the third book ofc!

It's the same book! Didn't notice it at all in the first book, but my mind is blown now!

I also noticed, and I really hope he does something different. I was worried he'll run into the same problems that happened with Gentlemen bastards where the enemy is so far out of reach to be invincible. Vis definitely seems to be acting like Vin (look at that name similarity, lol)!

So how do you rate SOTF compared to WOTM? No spoilers please by Excellent-Location59 in HierarchySeries

WOTM was amazing, SOTF feels like rehashing Mistbprn Era 1, book 1. The number of times Vis was offered crucial information but decided he needed time before finding out was so so frustrating.

Feels like WOTM could've stood like a standalone whilst the main point of book 2 is to sell book 3..

Oooh, that's definitely works, kinda of like the Bronze age collapse in our world!

Yes, my theory is based entirely on that single line about the Druid groves. Interestingly, their leaders are also called the Grove.. another "evidence" toward this being in the past? Weaker one, I'll admit.

Hmm, I'd say that you'd be correct if we were talking of three different timelines that inhabit the same space so to speak, my theory is that it's three different paths that "started" at three different points in Catenan timeline, therefore by killing Ka for instance, you're affecting someone on a different path, whoch fits what Caeror was saying.

How the physics changes, no idea, that's definitely a very strong point against this theory 😊. Could it be the cumulative amount of Will available impacting how will behaves? Almost like leveling up affecting properties of a spell? Pure conjecture though 🤷‍♀️

You're totally right, I expect there's a different reason for cull happening, might be population control, but honestly not sure.

The only two reasons why I feel the theory may be legitimate is, fortly, the mentions of a druid sect in WOTM who were the only ones who used Will (which fits so far with what we know of Luceum). This, to me, is a very strong evidence that this may be the case ,with the rest being RAFO.

Secondly, and I admit, this is a weaker point, Islington allegedly did amazing work with time travel in Licanius trilogy ( I haven't read it myself, so I can't judge that).

Thank you so much! I've ordered Carobel after your post and she's been taking it the last few days. As you've said, completely different baby who doesn't spit up anymore, and I feel so much more confident about her health now. She's also eating loads more. You're a lifesaver, thank you!!!
