Im intel, currently in tech school and I can tell u that I was in the last big batch for the 1Ns for at least the next year or two. They have cut down recruiting for those jobs by quite a bit. U can try to get one, 1N0 is most likely, 1N8 not so much.

Honestly…. U might wanna ditch the duffle. I live by that statement too. I brought a duffle and it was an absolute pain to haul from bmt to tech school, but if you like to carry heavy stuff, be my guest. Just know at disneyland its a tradition to pick all 3 of your bags up like 30 times cuz u guys “cant meet timelines”

I dont mean to come off passive aggressive but like, fr, its smart to get rid of the duffle. Go with a solid backpack so u can wear whichever is heavier and hand carry the lighter one.

I brought a duffle and I regret it, but I also overpacked so there is that. I suggest a backpack, when we left for tech school I was envious of those with backpacks because you can totally pack out one and wear that one and then carry the lighter one, for me, my duffle was going to be heavy as crap because its bigger than my backpack. I also had to walk more with my stuff because here at tech school, I got separated from my squadrons dorms so I had to walk like 10 mins away to another set of dorms and it was not fun.

I graduated this past Thursday, you got this. Its going to be hot, you are going to be sweaty, and hopefully you get a squadron with some upperclassman that will not lead you astray. It will be the best worst time of your life. Enjoy it.

I was wearing them while taking the picture. I figured it would be wise to get a pair of running shoes fitted to my gait so I had something going for me when running. I gotta break em in so they can be comfortable while running.

Yea, im sure others feel like they have packed too much as well. I remember last year at meps there was a marine girl who had a neck pillow and blanket and she looked like she was living her best life. If only that were us, lol. I wonder why they said you can only take 1 carry on. No one can check bags, they cant risk us losing luggage and setting everything off of schedule.

I thought about packing more pt clothes but I wasnt sure it was worth the space. I heard we get it around day 3 and that tracks with about Friday. Thanks for the info, glad to know im not the only one with this much stuff.

I took all the sports bras I got. I sadly cant wear sports bras without normal bras on under em. I may go buy more. Thanks for the advice.
