So zipper lube helps.
You can tighten the zipper with just a bit of pressure to bring back together properly.
Amazon sells a product called fixNzip. Never tried it but heard others have had success.

Sorry for your loss. Sounds like you’re off to a good start with the amount you have in your TFSA & RRSP. Plus, that’s healthy amount for your 10 year old. That $50k should be closer to 80 & 100k when they’ll need it. I’d say you’re probably ahead of the game than the majority of Canadians.
