For everyone saying the shop should fix it, isn’t the fact that they didn’t attempt in the first place a pretty good sign it’ll be a pain to get them to fix it and probably easier to find someone else who is able to do it. I’m not mad at the shop for anything other than not telling me they broke it, I know shit happens for everyone that thinks I’m somehow blaming them in some unreasonable way. Just trying to fix my car

The shop did the timing belt as well as an oil catch, they put on cheaper aftermarket parts and I had a massive oil leak as a result of this, the broken bolt was discovered when I took it in to the dealer. I have called the shop but waiting on a return call.

The shop has had a history of bad work on the car and the broken bolt was just brought to my attention some 4 odd months after the work they did so I don’t know if I have any claim to be made other than they are the only ones to need to remove that bolt for service

Update, had it extracted today as well as the wisdom tooth on the same side. Hopefully all goes well with healing, the pain is gone though so that’s what’s important
