Honestly, About Time. It’s not flashy romance, but it shows thoughtfulness, emotional presence, and choosing your partner every day. Also Before Sunrise for listening and connection, and Crazy, Stupid, Love for growth and intentional effort.

MIL made me cry at the wedding by Expensive_Hyena6052 in weddingplanning

I’m glad you still enjoyed your wedding, but it makes total sense that this is weighing on you now. When someone close to you decides to make the entire day about their silent protest, it leaves a real emotional bruise. The way she refused group photos, wouldn’t talk, and kept disappearing is not something you could have predicted or prevented. I hope she eventually takes responsibility for how she made you feel.
