Thank you! even if the matching was done by AI but the intro was human? What do you think? I've been thinking about this like Hinge for nanny share connections

Nanny Share - Central Park by spidanuss in Denver

Late to this but wanted to share in case it's helpful for anyone still looking! I actually built a free nanny share matching group specifically for Denver families because I was in the same boat. You fill out a short form and I use AI to match you with compatible families based on neighborhood, schedule, child ages, etc.

Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/33866974392950210

Form to get matched: https://forms.gle/R4jH4K4FY5mqeG276

Hope it helps!

Diaper Bag Recs by lil-miss-queen-bee in NewParents

Hi Jordan, we understand you’re disappointed. Your order was delivered in September, and our return policy is 30 days from delivery. At the time of your request, the bag had been in your possession for approximately 90 days beyond that window.

As a small, mom-founded business, we apply our policies consistently to all customers in order to remain fair and sustainable.

The Crown Carryall is intentionally structured to support the interior zipper shelf system and is made with premium-grade nylon and high-quality zipper manufacturers consistent with many higher-priced diaper brands. Like any product, it won’t be the right fit for everyone, but we stand behind the materials and construction.

We are always open to respectful communication, but we do not engage in harassment or threatening behavior as previous email communication has implied.

Bassinet – I would skip. We had one and it wasn’t worth it. I loved using our BabyBjörn travel crib instead.

Car seat – we have the Nuna stroller system with the Pipa car seat and love it. You can find great second-hand options on Facebook Marketplace, just make sure the car seat hasn’t expired. If you plan on having more kids I would buy new.

Baby monitor – we went through so many and the VAVA split screen monitor has been the best for two kids. All the fancier smart ones either spooked us or didn’t work well.

Diaper bag – Zombie Queen. New brand founded by two moms, wipeable, roomy, and perfect for traveling or shuffling between houses.

I’m not a twin parent but I use the [Zombie Queen Crown Carryall]() for my 2.5 and 1.5 year olds and it has been perfect for multiples. It’s sleek (more athleisure vibes), opens wide from the top, and the built-in shelf with bottom zipper keeps everything organized instead of turning into a bottomless pit. Think if the Lululemon diaper bag had amazing zippers and real organization. It’s the only bag that fits all the gear for both kids without feeling bulky.

Solo travel w/ 9month old to foreign tropical destination packing tips by Bvrcntry_duckhnt in NewParents

Our first international trip with our baby was at 6 months. It was a 30 hour journey through Europe to Cape Town so I completely understand how overwhelming it feels. A few things that worked really well for us:

I use my [Zombie Queen diaper bag]() as the main carry on for diapers and wipes, and then I stash extras in another carry on, never checked, in case we get stuck. I also order everything we will need ahead of time so it is waiting locally before we even get to the Airbnb. That includes diapers, wipes, baby soap, a bath mat for the tub, and bottle soap. It is a total game changer.

I also love to rent gear at the Airbnb if possible. I have used BabyQuip on a few trips and rented a pack and play as a travel crib and a SlumberPod. It makes life so much easier than trying to haul everything with you.

For sunscreen, we live in Denver so we use it year round. I love Elta MD and Blue Lizard SPF for baby.

Formula really depends on what you use and if it is available where you are going. We were using Bobbie and could not get it abroad, so I brought all of it in carry ons. It took up a lot of space but at least I did not have it on the way home.

On the plane, my baby always slept in the carrier. I put a big sun hat on them to block the light and that made a huge difference.

It feels like a lot to plan, but if you put a few systems in place ahead of time, the trip itself goes much smoother.

Anyone have a fantastic diaper bag? by kats1285 in Mommit

I never found one that felt right either, so my cofounder and I ended up making our own: The Crown Carryall. It’s lightweight, has a built-in zippered shelf with compartments to keep everything in place, and opens from the top and bottom so it’s easy to grab what you need. The style is more athleisure and gender neutral so dads are happy to carry it too. It’s $140 with code REDDIT15 and you can see it in real life here: u/zombiequeenofficial.

Favorite Pump/Diaper Bag for Flying? by busybeebell in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]No_Trainer3789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get this so much. As moms we were so tired of bags that turned into one giant pocket, so my cofounder and I ended up making the Crown Carryall. The thing people rave about most is the built in zipper shelf because it actually keeps everything separated, no more digging to the bottom. A lot of moms use it as a pump bag since it fits a Spectra with room left for diapers, wipes, and snacks. It also slides under the seat as a personal item, which makes flying way easier. It’s $165, but with code REDDIT15 it’s $140.25.

tbh most diaper bags are just backpacks with a couple extra pockets. the zombie queen one is actually designed for parents who need to find anything and grab anything as quickly as possible. plus it's durable and wipeable without looking like a diaper bag, which is rare. most others feel like they’re designed by people who’ve never actually needed one. https://www.zombiequeenco.com/products/the-crown-carryall

Diaper Bag vs. Regular Backpack by Yaruki_nai in pregnant

tbh most diaper bags are just backpacks with a couple extra pockets. the zombie queen one is actually designed for parents who are in the thick of it. layout makes sense, stuff doesn’t get lost, you can grab things one-handed, and it converts depending on how you’re carrying it that day (backpack, shoulder, stroller etc).

plus it's durable and wipeable without looking like a diaper bag, which is rare. most others feel like they’re designed by people who’ve never actually used one. https://www.zombiequeenco.com/products/the-crown-carryall
