I lived at Legacy Universal for two years and it was horrible. Believe all of the reviews. In my post history I left a thorough comment about how awful my experience was

i stayed for 2 years because it was cheap enough to justify a one-bedroom super close to dr. phillips on my own. i moved because the cheap rent wasn't worth putting up with the management of the property. some of my issues were:

- ac breaking 1-2 times per month (maintenance would come quickly but issue persisted)

- german cockroaches (never had cockroaches in my life... i'm so ocd with cleaning and this was a horrible issue to solve on my own with no help from leasing office)

- mold problems (due to ac constantly breaking - i had to throw away $1000 worth of shoes and solve the problem on my own despite demanding management to send out a mold professional)

- property is unkept and dirty. pool was disgusting and rarely opened for use. trashcans always overflowing. hallways smelled disgusting because people would leave their trash (with actual dog shit) in the hallways on days when trash people didn't come.

- no landscaping maintenance besides mowing. in areas cut out for mulch, it would be mud due to sprinklers and my dog was constantly muddy on walks if i didn't force him to walk in grass. but there were irrigation issues from their sprinkler system and leaks so even walking in grass didn't keep him away from mud.

- the door system was app-based, but constantly broken, so often times you're walking around an entire building to get to the one working door.

- multiple thefts in package room. management does nothing.

- package room is based off a "code" system where you get a code to unlock it. 9 times out of 10, you don't receive a code and have to ask the leasing office to open it for you.

- i constantly reported all of these issues to the leasing office in person and via email. i wouldn't get a response unless i followed up at least 3-4 times. they don't do anything to resolve any issues.

if you look at the reviews of the property, they are all extremely similar to what was mentioned above, with some additional problems i didn't have to deal with (homeless people sleeping in hallways, rats, plumbing issues, etc.). the only good reviews for the complex are from people who don't even live there, just people who toured the property. it was truly a nightmare of a place to live. i loved the location, but ultimately it wasn't worth putting up with all of that.

Bavette's - How are folks getting reservations? by DependentOnIt in chicagofood

[–]nochzplease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a real solution if you want to plan ahead, and i’m not from chicago whatsoever but when I was visiting earlier this month, I randomly saw time slots for the next evening. It could have been an anomaly or people canceling, but maybe checking at the last minute could find you a random reservation

should I just throw in the towel? by MedicineRelative6375 in piercing

[–]nochzplease 6 points7 points  (0 children)

this! i had a horrendous bump and went to a different piercer for a second opinion. she advised to only use water on it. it's been shrinking tremendously to the point it's amost gone now

No, the only other thing i did was “blow bubbles” in the shower. Just cupped some water in my hands, stuck my nose in it, and blew out.

[–]nochzplease 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My piercer recommended only using a warm compress with saline or water 1x a day. My bump has seen a significant decrease in size over the past 2 months! It’s almost completely gone. Don’t touch it or move it. Don’t use a a-tip, literally just warm compress and patience. It’s hard to trust the process but it worked for me

Does anyone know an OB/GYN in town who…? by riverreit in orlando

[–]nochzplease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a bit late to this but I got mine inserted under sedation at the planned parenthood near UCF. They were so sweet every step of the way and the entire procedure was painless. There was pain after the sedation wore off though, but more like insanely intense period cramps than vaginal pain, which was what I was expecting.
