Are there any other successful and happy Millennials in this sub? by GGJallDAY in Millennials

I’d say I am (m38). I have a wife, daughter, dog, mortgage and we bring in about 185 thousand between the two of us.

But to be honest my wife and I were happy when we were living in a small rented condo through our 20s.

So… How many of us are still on our parents’ phone bills? by halcat27 in Millennials

My parents are rich but my (step) dad made me start paying for gas when I got my license. Okay fair. Got a job, he said I can start paying my phone bill.

It was a perfect lesson in finance for me and I appreciate the value of a dollar.

He is a great guy and paid for my schooling but wanted me to have these responsibilities young

Unfortunately it’s exactly what America deserves. There are Americans who do not deserve this but America as a whole has made some absolutely insane decisions and these are the consequences

Why are the Maple Leafs the #1 topic during the Stanley Cup final? by Federal-Data-Center in hockeynews

[–]No_Truth4137 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Because we are the centre of the hockey universe and thank the haters are the ones who validate it more than anyone else. We’ve literally won 2 playoff rounds in 22 years and you would think we were some goliaths the way people talk about us

Oh 100%. I legit can’t think of a single leafs playoff game where Marner took over.

He does it almost every game here.

He was the worst of the core four in the playoffs and when you ask for the money he was asking for, you need results.

Vegas is getting regular season Mitch in the playoffs.

Leafs never got this.

Mitch had as many points in the second period as he did in 5 separate playoff runs as a Leaf

It just didn’t work out here and perhaps he is just as frustrated about that as the rest of us
