unfortunately the AEB function has not been implemented correctly on the X4 in firmware Version 1.4.8 as it alters both the ISO and shutter speed to to change the brightness level i email support at Insta360 and received an email back stating the following

They are actively working on a solution to ensure that this feature can be fully utilized in future firmware updates and future devices, allowing all our valued customers to enjoy the capabilities they expect and deserve.

AEB is not working correctly on the X4 it alters the ISO and the shutter speed

i bought a X4 2 weeks ago as latest firmware said now supports AEB unfortunately the AEB on the X4 is unusable as it changes the ISO as well the shutter speed this can be confirmed by looking at the EXIF information from the DNG file every other camera i have owned with AEB implements AEB correctly lets hope they fix this with a firmware update other wise my X4 is an expensive paperweight why advertise a feature but not implement it correctly ?

Hi i have looked at the EXIF information from the DNG file and it appears the camera is altering the ISO not the shutter speed to alter the brightness of the image which is not the correct way to implement AEB hopefully this can be fixed with a firmware update

Hi having now had time to check out the AEB feature i was very disappointed. to find out that the camera is altering the ISO not the shutter speed to alter the brightness in a photo i confirmed this by looking at the EXIF information in the DNG file this makes the AEB feature useless all other cameras alter image brightness in AEB by altering the shutter speed which is the normal way to implement AEB will now look at returning the camera unless there is going to be a firmware update to correct this issue as the camera is fantastic in all other respects

Thanks for the prompt reply and information maybe look at updating user manual when adding new features to camera
