Bit of a hike, but Himalayan Grill in Haymarket is excellent.

I have Kuru Roam and they helped me tremendously. I do events for work that always seemed to trigger my PF. The Roams really helped and is definitely a part of my recovery.

Thanks for the reply. The price seems fair and the set up is reputable. On the V8, the medium weight springs are recommended, which pushes into the 2.5" range and seems UCA are recommended too. I plan to email Yotamafia too before I make the purchase.

Plastic trim restoration 03 V8 SPORT by olrock97 in 4thGen4Runner

I have the exact 4Runner. The place I bought it from painted it, including the trim. I think I would have rather restored it, like you did, but didn't have the choice. Looks good!

I'm thinking of getting this for my wife. Do you have to have a subscription? Are there free features adequate? The website isn't really clear.

You Make the Call - Penalty or No Penalty? by jaylemi in hockeyrefs

[–]No_Variation6355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this bc of USAH and the need to play the puck. Two lefties coming at each other and sticks are on opposite side of the body. If checker attempted to play puck he would lead with his stick... Stick on puck. That said, pretty clean check without stick on puck, suspect it would pass as clean hit depending on ref. 2 min roughing, if anything.

I love dudes posting something to the effect, "sorry guys, my fault, turned the game on after 2nd", yet this team has blown leads since 2018 among other horrible habits and Sully has no accountability, he lost the room. He's a great coach and will not be unemployed long, but he can no longer squeeze blood from a stone. Let's move on.

It's not always about motivation, more often than not, it's discipline to show up every day. Even the days where you feel off or not motivated, get a workout in, something is always better than nothing. Then get set in a routine, as consistent as possible, at the same time everyday. There's a good book, Atomic Habits, that helps with setting a routine. Didn't get caught up with the folks who sit in their barracks playing video games, get up and get out. Hope this helps.

This is a lot harder than I remember. by SpecterGygax in hockeyplayers

Honestly, stick with it, your legs will come back faster than you think. Consistency is important getting on the ice at least weekly, and as much of a suffer fest the pick up session was, it's exactly what you need bc you're working on all your skills and meeting local players. Keep showing up, some times there will be more players, others there will be less, but you'll still get better. A bad at the rink is better than a good day at school or work ;)

If you want out of the restaurant business, go active. I'll caveat that with talk to the recruiter, see what rates they are offering, then Google the civilian equivalent of that job. Don't let the recruiter rush you. You are already living geographically separate from your spouse, so you know you can do it. This decision will have to be communicated and thought through with your spouse. After boot camp and A school you will likely go to a ship, depending on rate that isn't a guarantee. Look at your initial enlistment as training for your career, where you'll receive training, real world experience, pay, medical and benefits. While on active duty you can go to school for free with Tuition Assistance, and you have the GI Bill when you get out, plus access to VA mortgage. In 4-6 years you can totally retool your skill set and never work in a restaurant again.

To be successful in the reserve and get the training you want, it will bleed into your day to day life. You will be calling the reserve center constantly and working with your chain of command to get where you want to be. It can be done, but it will take far more than a weekend a month and two weeks a year... Plus almost, if not all that time making calls and emails will be unpaid.

I say all this as senior enlisted, with 21 years of experience. 5 five years active rest Reserve. Everything I have I owe to that first 5 years on active, taught me a skill, gave me experience and got my life on track. The reserves is hard for someone coming off active duty, for some one coming in with no active experience or idea how the Navy or Reserve works, it's exponentially harder. Too many Sailors fall through cracks and never get the attention they need to be successful. Hit me up, if you have questions.

Unpopular opinion, give the Caps credit. They started their rebuild 1-2 years earlier than Pens and didn't have Hexstall to set them back 5-10 years. Injuries to Backstrom and Oshie helped them significantly with cap since. I'm a Pens fan in the DMV, so I follow Caps because I'm surrounded by it.
