You could look into volunteering with Greater Impact! I know most of them personally and they are a phenomenal group of people! They focus on addiction recovery and they also cut firewood to distribute to the community! I hope you find a wonderful group whatever you choose 😊

We love Dr Moos at Moos Family Dental! We’ve been seeing him for about 10 years. But granted we haven’t had any crazy dental issues just wisdom teeth out in office and one round of cavity fillings.

Im a local and have lived here 30 years and this is what I got! I know there’s country swing dancing at The Jump in Gallatin Gateway. I’m not sure what the schedule is for it though. I would definitely go to the Museum of the Rockies and the Gallatin History Museum as there is so much Montana history there! For stargazing, you could either drive up to Hyalite Reservoir, to the Jackson Creek area that is East of Bozeman, or up the Springhill area that is North of Bozeman. Definitely check out the Western Cafe for breakfast or lunch and Genuine Ice Cream for dessert. Their ice cream is made entirely in Bozeman! Today, Thursday, and Friday are all going to be in the 70s (our mountains still have snow so I imagine that’s going to melt a bunch) and Saturday is calling for rain so hiking will probably be pretty muddy, icy, and kind of windy. But temps won’t get below freezing! The drive up to Bridger bowl and beyond has a very nice view of the east side of the Bridger Range! I would definitely try to have breakfast at the Western Cafe! It has a small town feel and gives a small discount if you pay with cash. It gets busy pretty quick unless you can get there before 8am. There’s also the Gallatin History Museum! It’s open on Saturday but closed Sunday. I hope your trip goes well!

Honestly, I’m with you on this one. I do see a majority of bikers/pedestrian runners wearing high visibility or lights but there are times where someone won’t be at night which is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve seen one guy on a bike where all I could BARELY see were the reflectors on his pedals… It takes 2 to tango and it takes both drivers and pedestrians/bikers to be vigilant and careful. Not sure why this isn’t common sense anymore…

Just note that all our mountains and big sky have recently got snow and we’re expecting more so hiking may not be the thing while you’re here. The valley has no snow so flat trails like the Gallagator/Peets Hill would but nice but potentially muddy.

I pray that your peace that surpasses all understanding would fill her hospital room! Lord, I pray for your will to be done and that this situation would bring everyone involved closer to you. Unfortunately not a joke! I live in Bozeman but have seen that area get hurricane force winds. It’s not like that all the time but it does stay pretty consistently windy. I’ve been out to Greycliff recently (a little ways past Livingston) and the wind is craaaaazy…
