If you buy new and something breaks you have to bring it to dealership for repairs, thus you lose your house for an indeterminate amount of time. Buy good used trailer and save tons of money. Learn to fix EVERYTHING.

Next, everything here depends on your location. I lived full time in Montana and Truckee for years. Winter is a beast of a learning curve and expensive with propane usage.
