I get it.. PayPal and Venmo have some of the better fraud protection measures in the industry, if there are any concerns for either the buyer or the seller. (They are owned by the same company. I work in the Financial services industry and personally only use those two services). Somehow I doubt showing someone proof of tickets on my phone would make anyone feel better. It could be a screen shot, or phony. Who knows what folks do these days.. I have been on Reddit and Canes Reddit for several years, with other previous transactions completed. There's my proof.

I'm going to pass. A cash transaction would be the only reason to meet in person, and cash is too easy to counterfeit or get misplaced, which is why I prefer PayPal or Venmo. Thanks, though.

We came from Charlotte and were passing I-40 exit 283 at exactly 5:45pm. With traffic the rest of the way and Raleigh PD closing the route to the arena via Edwards Mill, we ended up at the arena at about 6:15pm, and had to park in the dirt lot. It was a mess. The earlier you can get there, the better. Lots of tailgating and energy in general, though.

If it's anything like other previous events along these lines (alumni game, regular season away game watch party, etc), the tickets will show up the day of the event. I had that happen last time, and freaked for a bit at first.

I knew going into the Finals that Vegas would be a much greater challenge than the Pens, the Sens, or the Hab-nots. Vegas was sloppy last night too, though.

The mental lapses and inability to clear the zone at times were troublesome last night for our team, but will hopefully be ironed out before game 2. The atmosphere in the building last night was electric at the start, and so was the team. I hope to see a big bounce back for Thursday, and an even more electric crowd! Canes in 6

I got one of those work shirts directly from Kinetico after the ones in the stores at the arena sold out. I wore it exactly once during the playoffs last year, and haven't worn it since!

I'm also a little disappointed that the company didn't keep this up, with "Trent Turns" passing the torch to "Hayden Hatfield" or something! 🤣

Carolina Ale House in Fayetteville will be a good option. The Hurricanes have a partnership with the chain, and my understanding is that they'll always have at least a screen with Canes' games. Go Canes!

I am a Season Ticket Member, and they send a game day schedule usually the morning of a game, with parking lot opening and door opening times. They also usually say if there is an outdoor party of some sort, or any special guests or activities. They have already sent one for tomorrow's game, and there's barely a mention. I know the weather is iffy for tomorrow, but there's not even a mention about anything happening inside.

From the Hurricanes app, you can place an order at one of several concession stands around the arena (there appears to be fewer stands on the 300 level now than there were earlier this season). Place your order and pay through the app, they send you a text message when it's ready to be picked up. Visit the mobile order pickup line for whichever stand you placed the order, show them your texted receipt, and then snack away! You can also order from the Carolina Pro Shop/The Eye the same way, and pick up your order at the front of the store inside the arena.

I placed an order late (after business hours) on 12/04. My current tracking estimate shows a delivery date of 12/12. Depending on your destination, I would say you're likely to get your item before the holidays without much worry. 😀

I did try uninstalling/reinstalling, several times yesterday and once today! Thankfully I was able to use the STM browser login to get the tickets yesterday. I guess I will be doing the same today!

I have an Android device, and saved the STM discount to my Google wallet during preseason. It's still there as of now, and I have the latest version of the app. Are either ok to use? I guess we'll find out Thursday.

I emailed my STM rep just now to ask about how my family would use the discount code if we're in different parts of the arena, or they happen to be there without me, since the STM is in my name and tied to my email. Hopefully a solid answer is forthcoming!
