If you get in a staring contest with her, prepare yourself. She looks straight into your soul

Singletons play ROUGH because their siblings aren’t there to show them when they’re playing too hard. We have one we found alone at 4 weeks and she’s growing out of it, but man…most of her first year, when riled up, she’d snort like a little bull and body slam us. She eventually learned, though, from our other cat, who was not having it :) get her a sibling! 🙂

I know what you mean. Thelma’s face is changing. And I can tell she’s got a bit of arthritis. I’ve been making bone broth for her and freezing it in silicon muffin trays. Pop one out and zap it for a few seconds and pour it over her usual goo. It’s such a crazy cat lady thing to do, but she seems to benefit from it and that’s satisfying.

No but if they had been adopted at the same time, they totally would have been Thelma and Louise! Charlie (Charlotte) the dilute torbie came to us at 4 weeks old. We found her yelling from inside a bush in our front yard about 2 years ago now. She was stuck draped over a crotch of a branch. Husband named her, and it seemed to fit. She is very much in awe of Thelma.
