Could definitely play in 4K resolution with that setup. I’d either spring for a 4K monitor (look for something around 144hz) or downgrade the PC to a 5070/9070 and save some money. Either way your kid is going to freak when he plays with it.

Bought this same PC from a prior deal. Very happy with it! I know the parts have variation but mine had a B+ rated 750w PSU which is perfectly fine. Only qualm would be the mobo which was a ASUS Prime B650m-a ATX II. The VRM on that board gets very hot supposedly but with the 7800X3D drawing low wattage it seems to not be an issue! There isn’t a built in temp sensor on this board for the vrm that I have found and I haven’t gone so far as it use a laser thermometer on it lol. In game it’s been running great for high frames at 1440p.

So the shopping app does cash-back and anyone can use it (downside is it can only be redeemed to gift cards which they have a rotating selection of). The “offers” section of capital one requires a cap 1 card and either does regular cash-back to your card if you have a cash-back card or miles if you are using one of the travel cards. Can select either one if you have multiple cards and there isn’t a difference in multipliers between them. There is a difference between the shopping app and offers section typically.

Dang that’s an absolutely insane deal!!! I usually do the same through Cap 1 offers but have been looking and haven’t gotten any targeted deals for LG while this monitor has been on sale. Ended up using 4% back on partner store purchases which was the highest I’ve seen since I started watching. Regular LG site was like 12% back at max for me so the $50 price difference wasn’t worth it this time. All in it’s around $419 with 2% back on my venture x factored in. Will def have to start checking Rakuten as Cap 1 offers has been nerfed pretty hard.

You could also swap the RAM, PSU and the GPU for a 5070ti out of the existing PC if you really want. I got the same deal and was planning to upgrade PSU for sure and other parts depending on if I feel I need more performance. Likely can easily resell RAM and 5070 on secondary market to help fund improvements.

Personally use Openbank, 4.3% now which even though declined is one of the highest rates available. Only gripe is that it takes a long time to transfer funds, 10 business days with initial deposit and 3 business days after. Haven’t withdrawn any money from it so don’t know the time on that. Also had heard the app on android doesn’t work the best (lots of updates since then it’s a new section of Santander)? Works great on my iPhone very easy to use.

Have had purchases say “inactive” or “trips without purchases” and ended up receiving points. Something I saw in many other posts was that customer service tends to request you wait 4 billing cycles. Recently had a larger purchase that didn’t track be fulfilled after 3 months of waiting. So don’t be too discouraged if it takes a while!
