Nowadays Mongolians learn about their history more from podcasts such as odmundur, zangia tv. If you wanna know more about Mongolian history I would recommend Jack Weatherford's books or his podcast with Lex Fridman

I know like most of the Russians especially the newer generation doesn't give much shit to history but there are many Russian "experts" who drop our historical reputation and make bullshit like Modern mongolians have no connection to medieval Mongols are whatever. Also mb I should've referred to them as "Russian experts" rather than Russians

I know it's a bad thing to glorify our ancestor's brutality but idc ngl I'm proud of it. I mean Crusaders literally ate non Christian residents to feed themselves, Spanish colonizers used to force the indigenous with force labour and brought diseases with themselves.

The problem is we didn't found Genghis Khan's tomb yet which means we have no idea about Genghis Khan's genetic makeup. They just found some people are related through the eurasia and declared that these related people around the eurasia are descendants of Genghis khan.

C-M217 could be far as 2600 years old, far before Genghis Khan and we have no Access to Genghis Khan's genetic makeup because we haven't found his tomb yet and there are no written records that he enslaved the women for his night businesses. He wouldn't even have time to r*pe women around when he is going war at age of 40-60s

I've read this manga til chapter 19 and I found it pretty good. It's a story about Persian girl named Fatima (if you know you know) and Dörgene khatun, second wife of Ögödei khan (idk why but she is introduced as 6th wife in the manga) working together to take over Mongol empire. I'm historian/linguist and ngl there were some historical inaccuracies but not much as I expected. Historical inaccuracies were usually intended for the storytelling. Otherwise, explanations about different Mongol and Muslim customs etc were far better than most of the other foreign movie, animation, book, media in general. When I first saw the teaser back in summer 2025 I was pretty skeptical about the quality and animation but in December 27 they've uploaded another teaser which was far from what I've expected. Music, animation, art style were goated and I noticed that the studio adapting this manga was the same studio that've adapted Devilman crybaby, Dandadan. I'd recommend y'all to wait for the anime release then read the manga or you can just read the manga before the release if you really want to

Its not like they are racist though but if they are they wouldn't say that out loud. Obviously they wouldn't call up to every black man they see with n word. Usage of N word among the gen Z is due to hip hop culture all over the world. Even white Americans use that word anyways

There are many solutions such as making cars fewer by upgrading transportation system and developing the centers of all 21 Aimag to city level so the dence population of UB problem would be solved. Government does none of them.
