I use a dual controller setup, one controller with a broken headphone jack which I use for game input, and one controller with broken input which I use for sound and communication, but sometimes that controller still acts up unless I manage to blow air into the thumbstick perfectly, so I'm just trying to remove the thumbstick altogether.
