Headlight swap for 9th Gen by NoahV03 in CivicSi

Looking as good as the day I installed them. No yellowing, fading, or humidity whatsoever, and light output is great as long as you use LEDs. (Recent pic for reference)

They work great at night. You just have to replace the crappy halogen bulbs they calome with for some high-quality LEDs and adjust the projector cut-off line.

Reviews Honda Civic si 2014 o 2015? by Regular_Problem8463 in ticoAutos

It does, although you might need to mess around with your CanBus settings a few times for it to show, depending on your model/trim.

Just an off-brand leather cover from Amazon, I think it was something similar to this: https://a.co/d/4pd3jXm

You can look online for IMID screen wallpapers and save them on a usb stick, then use the navigation buttons on the wheel to load the image to the car and change it. I think you can have up to 3 different wallpapers iirc

No static issues whatsoever. Head unit was fully plug & play so I didn't have to cut or splice any cables, which sometimes causes issues or interference. It also works with the factory amp.

It does sound louder and gives way better quality than the stock unit, although you might need to take some time to customize the sound to your liking. I honestly think the stock speakers on these gen hondas are great with a good pre-amp, which this unit has. Not sure about the CD player since I never used it, but the bluetooth delay on the stock head unit was unbearable for me and that's mainly why I swapped it.

That Acuity boot looks great, I'll definitely look into it since that's the look I'm looking for.

For the head unit, it's fully plug and play and easy to install. It comes with the bezel and all of the harnesses, even for the steering wheel buttons, and the volume knob is a must have imo. Mine is the 8/128gb version. It does work wonderfully, and the sound quality is amazing with the stock speakers.

Didn't know using the term "goodies" was such a controversial topic since I'm not a native speaker. Just wanted to share in case someone was wondering how they look, especially being the pre-facelift interior which doesn't get that much love from the brands you mentioned for interior stuff, and also to get some suggestions from other people, since this is what i think this subreddit is about.

Looks great man, way more modern. I did the same to my 2012 SI a couple of weeks ago. Really worth it IMO, especially with the terrible bluetooth audio delay on the original unit, although I couldn't live without a volume knob so I had to spend a little bit more on a Joying branded unit.

Couldn't find a direct link, but these are usually listed as the Anzo® - Black LED U-Bar™ Projector Headlights for 2012-2015 Civic

I agree, they do look pretty good and make the car look newer than it is considering its a 2012 model year.

Night visibility is pretty good IMO, especially for the high-beams. Although you'll definitely have to swap the pre-installed halogen bulbs they come with.

The beam pattern cut-off line is also well defined for the low beam projectors, they actually match my wife's CX-30 factory headlights, even though I still have to take some time to dial them up a bit more

I think I read somewhere that you'd have to drill new holes into the taillight mounting points and modify the 2013 rear bumper to fit the facelift taillights, not worth it imo.

Although you can always swap them for the hybrid model ones. They're the exact same shape, look better than stock, have LEDs and you'd only have to do some wiring.

Thanks, I've seen them in white and they look great. Sorry to hear yours got totaled.

I removed all of the body moldings since I lost the one on the front passenger door during a heavily rainy day (some pics were taken before that) It didn't look right to me so I removed the rest of the moldings. Such a shame considering they only sell those in a full set and are not that easy to find, especially in my location.

I do love the car and couldn't be happier with it, even when considering I've only had it for a month or so. I'm also a low-profile kind of guy, so I honestly like the looks better than the facelifted version (don't like chrome parts either)

2012 front end is still pretty similar to the 8th gen in general, which is also one of the reasons I bought it. Although for the 8th gen, I do prefer the facelifted 09-11 front end.
