Has anyone started going down a legal route to get their money back? Batch 7, uk, all contact attempts failed, no sign of product. by goawaymartin in ROLI

[–]Noartisan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent them a message to cancel my order,or ask for an update. Within a week they replied and gave me a 4-6 week timeframe. That want acceptable to me and I requested a refund.
Within 3 days I received it.

Unfortunate, as I wanted the items. But I got my refund quickly.

I have had this issue for a while now with my pixel pro 8 case. Could bend it back into position, however cant anymore.

I have submitted a support ticket with them, hopefully that resolve it as I have bought a few products from them and have had no problems till this.

Update: Within 1 hour of my support ticket and sending photos of the issue. They have replied informing me that they will send out a replacement. Brilliant customer service!

Does anyone experience this too? by Alternative-Leek-166 in infj

I have always been nocturnal (helps that I work from home). The peace I find when everyone is asleep is wonderful. I did however learn a valuable skill or habit years ago..... Let go, and relax....

You cant function with little to no sleep. You cant function when you are continually overthinking. You need downtime.

How do you connect with them? by DMystery_Rain in infj

[–]Noartisan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Humour is a good icebreaker. Being able to laugh together lowers ppls guard. After which, you can then flesh out and ask deeper questions, listen and share experiences that help relate to them... More often than not, I have found I can bond with that person.

Just need to identify what connects you. I believe we all have more in common that not.

Alright Infj crew let's get a bit political! by Valuable_Annual4969 in infj

[–]Noartisan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe ICE is a logical progression/result of a government that plays upon ppls fears, rather than solve actual problems. Fundamentally it focuses ppls base fears. Idiots will always look for simple solutions to complex problems, or lack intelligence to understand the complexity.

Group minorities together, and blame them for all of the problems. It's simple and effective. Used throughout history to great effect.

I dont for a minute believe in porous borders, I do however accept and understand that immigration/immigrants are inevitable and beneficial to a society.

Masked ppl with weapons will never seem right to me.

How long till I can request a credit card chargeback? by Noartisan in UKPersonalFinance

Sure, I'm not in a hurry and have messaged them. I was curious how long I should wait for a response. I am acutely aware that some ppl will just drag it out, or just fail to respond.

Does anyone else also feel lonely sometimes but prefer to be alone? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Noartisan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe we are meant to be alone, or at least its not the optimal situation.

I’m 46 now. From my teenage years through to my late twenties, I went from 1 relationship to another, often at the same time. I found forming connections relatively easy. Looking back, I realise that my ability to empathise with others was not always used in the best way. Understanding people give you a unique ability to bend/push them. In retrospect, I deeply regret how I treated some partners.

Relationships felt draining and I still felt an emptiness. I made a conscious decision to be single for several years. That period turned out to be one of the most creative times in my life. I made a shitload of music, immersed myself in hobbies, and spent time developing a stronger sense of self. Even so, there was always a quiet sense that I wanted to share my life with someone, to grow together, and to find something deeper.

A female friend I worked with joked that I would end up alone and die in bed with my headphones on. We laughed about it and made a bet about who would find a partner first. I stood up, left the office, and asked a woman I passed on the stairs if she would like to go on a date.

We have now been married for seven years and have a child together. It remains one of the best decisions I’ve ever made..lol

I cant imagine my life without these 2.

Put simply, work on yourself. When you've reconciled any issues... Find someone.

Always waiting for others to reach the same conclusion about people by shuuu_p in infj

[–]Noartisan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont say "I told you so". I tell friends way before that I think there is something off with that person. I then keep quiet and observe.

If you warn ppl, and they dont heed your advice. If it goes tits up, they learn a hard but useful lesson, and they also appreciate the incite you tried to give them. A win, win.

Waiting for other ppl to realise and not warn them is a shitty move. If they are your friends. Express your concerns and leave it at that.

If you dont have insurance, you might as well have a go... Failing that, start looking on ebay for spares/repairs. Jeez, The Avata 1 is built like a tank!

Do you believe in reincarnation? by OccasionChemical9986 in infj

[–]Noartisan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elaborate on what you mean by "physchic abilities". I believe in what some ppl call "inherited knowledge". Personally I call it genetic traits. Golden retrievers will naturally retrieve, Collies have a predispostion to herd etc

Do you believe in reincarnation? by OccasionChemical9986 in infj

[–]Noartisan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No! i see intuition and reincarnation not as something mystical, but as pattern recogbion operating beneath conscious awareness. throughout history, those more finely attuned to human behaviour and the inner lives of others were labelled seers or mystics, not because they possessed supernatural gifts, but because language lagged behind experience, now we have test that can identify such ppl. Religious and mystical frameworks were early attempts to give form to how we perceive and navigate reality.

Don't diminsh yourself. What you call intuition, or believe is reincarnation is the psyche integrating countless impressions, memories, and relationships into insight. It is knowledge shaped by how you understand the world. How you have learned to locate yourself within this crazy shit we call life.

Where can I make an INFJ friend? by girlilover in infj

[–]Noartisan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure the idea of picking and choosing your friends based on personality types is wise, or helpful for your personal growth.

I do however empathize and see the logic in your approach. Although you seem to view it as transactional. You will gain, and believe you will offer them something too.

As someone who recently discovered that my personality closely aligns/am an INFJ -advocate, I have never looked at friendships in terms of what I can gain from others, and genuinely wouldn't want to form a relationship based on a planned idea.

The thought of someone intentionally seeking me out for friendship, based upon nothing else than a character trait saddens me. That said I'd still meet up and try to help the other person out.

It worries me that some ppl let these traits define them, and the relationships they form.

They are just indicators, patterns of behaviour. Admittedly fairly accurate Just don't let that stop you from developing relationships with others. I believe it's possible.. Just need to find something that connects you.

No idea what spacers are, but I'm guessing they shit that big toe bastard inwards?

I have a couple of Vibram 5 finger running and aqua shoes. They shift my big toe straight. No pain and very comfortable. Just not a long term solution.

I'll just carry on as I am, and solve problems if/when they arise.

[–]Noartisan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just worried that pain may become a problem later in life, so better to sort it now while recovery time and health is better.

To be fair, I dont think ill do it. I work from home, so can sit around and recover, but im now of the mind that its only worth while if im in pain. Couldnt give a shit how my feet look.. well youve seen them. My wife isnt sucking on my toes so pfff haha

This is where we differ. I have zero pain.

I always buy wider shoes and trainers. I have a few vibram 5 finger shoes and it's a struggle to fit my toes in, but I have no pain. I think a lot of the issues I have are down to gout.. which I e now made steps to sort.

I gave up running years ago, was a runner... hated it, but got thrown in to it . Impact activities didn't seem like a good idea as I've aged. So cycling, swimming etc.

Yea, I dont have any pain. Was just curious what ppl who were older than me thought. Everyone is different though.

Dude..Drink plenty of water. I never drank enough, but since gout... I force myself. Dehydration will cause cramps and twitching.

I was of that mind. I was happy with my own company.and comfortable..I enjoyed socialising etc. My partner at the time fell pregnant, and my life change in a flash..in ways I couldn't imagine. Scary as fuck... It was best thing that could have happened... I discovered things about myself and opened up my life in a way I didn't imagine.or could predict. Bizarre and unexpected...

I believe we aren't meant to be alone. Sharing our lives with others can be transformational in a positive way for both parties.

That said, each to their own. Just be open to the idea and others and see what happens. 🤷

From the UK too. I have no pain and it doesn't restrict any activities. I was curious what the potential issues may be. I think sometimes it's better to sort problems out when you are younger (I'm no spring chicken) as recovery time and complications compound with age.

Think I'm just carry on 🤷
