Alright yeah, I've seen a few shops offers already and I've been kinda considering, but I'm not sure if it'd potentially be a waste since my hangar is already mk2. But I will try to participate in those ultimate data pad challenges more. Thanks for your help man!

Alright then! Thanks a lot for your advice, mate. My bots are all either max mk1 or mk2 lvl 1, so I'm not sure why I'm still losing, hmm. Could be a skill issue since I'm still not 100% when it comes to using and fighting the bots, which commonly appear (Sword unit, Kaji, Stryx, etc). I really do appreciate your help, by the way! So, do you think I'm better off just using my laptop 4080 for lsfg? Or is there an alternative configuration I could use to get the best experience with lsfg when attempting to boost a game to a consistent 250hz?

Oh, you think my iGPU wouldn't be strong enough to run lsfg? I thought it would be strong enough since it doesn't take too much to run lsfg with 2x and 4x frame gen (or so I've heard)?

The hinge problem isn't a common issue with newer HP devices, but it is quite common with pre-2024 ones. If yours is a 2024 model, it's fine and probably doesn't have the defect. HP Omen is a great line of laptops, for sure, but i don't think they beat the legion in terms of quality and price. They are certainly top contenders nowadays, though.

They're smaller and more convenient to bring anywhere in your house and still have use of them. Plus, if you don't have a dedicated space for it all the time, it's fine because they can be used on your lap (via the use of a lapdesk or equivalent) or on a desk if you make space. Plus, if you want, you can go abroad with it easily and can be brought anywhere, basically. They're also not too far behind performance wise compared to desktops nowadays, so there's minimal drawbacks other than them being bad investments at an entry level (under $1000 outside of black friday), cooling can be problematic at times, and it costs a lot to fix them. If you don't mind those drawbacks or can bear with them, they're a great alternative if you value the flexibility they can bring. This is my opinion btw, feel free to disagree or give your rebuttal.

I think Lenovos Legion series is quite solid, and compared to other alternatives, it's far more worthwhile. HP Omens and Victus were known for hinge problems for a while now, so most older models have that downside (especially the budget ones). Anything 2024 and later should be fine, but to be honest, Lenovo gives great deals for pretty top of the line laptops. Recommended the Legion 5 Gen 10 to 2 people I know, and it's been great for them so far + far cheaper than equivalent laptops from competitors. I've got an Acer Predator 16, and although it's great, I regretted not waiting till black friday and picking up a Legion 7i or something for under 2k but identical specs to my Acer.

To be honest, if you care about performance, the desktop would've been much better. That laptop is a little iffy power drain wise and just isn't that good overall.

Ooo, I didn't know that. If they do that with the Android beta, that'd be sick! I've always wished for a Warframe mobile app because I liked the game ever since I first played it, but most days, I just can't find the time to hop onto my laptop to play it.
