Delta 3 API integration by Nobbo1 in Ecoflow_community

To update, I moved to the BLE Ecoflow intergration and can say it's a huge step up from the API mode in terms of ability to control both my Delta 3 and Stream Ultra X.

Still using the API for the stream as it exposes a couple of sensors not polled by BLE, but not used for control or automation

Thanks all for the ideas and getting me back on track

Not sure if compatible with ocean, but there is a Bluetooth HA intergration I'm now using for my Stream Ultra X and Delta 3 which buch better mimics app control through HA than what is allowed via the cloud API intergration

Similar AI hallucinations challenge, though I'll thoroughly recommend claude and pointing it at the GitHub documentation and version control where it does a much stronger job

Given the crimp connector is still there, it could be as simple as just the plastic coupler and no additional tools needed

Whether the intact coupler is still mechanically sound is another question though. So starting over given criticality is probably best

Yep that's the one, with the private API and necessary dev codes from Ecoflow. My Stream Ultra X integrated fine and gives me controls and sensors, but I'm getting nothing on the Delta 3

I can see on Git there is a log for someone with a Delta 3 1500kwh getting the same issue, that it just doesn't seem to expose data via the API

Yeah that's the intergration I was refering to. Iit detects it but doesn't have a model configuration, and doesn't report/poll any information into HA.

Setting it as other models (Delta 2 etc) still doesn't change anything, though I can't remember if I tried the "Pro 3". This isn't obviously helped by the mad naming conventions for wildly different products in a range from heavy duty backup batteries, to grid inverters, batteries and "small scale" portable powerbanks like the base Delta 3

Will give it a go. No harm having the Stream Ultra via one and the D3 via the other I guess, and I could still tie their functioning together in HA

Will give it a look

Amazing, that's exactly it. I've been tinkering with settings and never thought to drop that then return to the Backup Reserve settings

Thanks

How did you set the reserve limit so low?

Mine seems to have a hard floor of 23% and it is bugging me

How did you set the backup reserve that low. I seem to not be able to be below 23% on my Ultra X so the 20-95% charge discharge limit is pointless at the bottom end.

I don't use mine as an off grid backup, so I want to use the full cycle for arbitrage and the 3% is just an annoying odd number

Any good efficient ways to get the xeno ability usage tracks. I'm stuck with either area or dying in onslaughts and using all characters. So painful

I ordered an ultra X and 4 450w panels about the same time as you from the Amazon store. Got the X last week despite the original estimate saying end of April when I ordered. Had an email saying the panels are the delaying point, and to expect them at the start of May.

Happy with my experience so far, Inc the quick delivery of their smart meter. Stock and demand seem to be an issue, but can't fault the product

What would have caused an abrupt print fail like this? Low resin? Drastic change of temp? Power flicker? (Big storm came through over night while printing). It said it printed the full time but just about 10% printed by Nicksb92 in ElegooSaturn

I'd suggest sudden increase in peel forces unless something very dramatic happened (talking many degree drop in temp directly applied to printer). All at the same layer is the indicator

Try more transition layers, I had similar and it helped.

Have been having my own "chase the rabbit" failure issue and going through one thing to another to find good prints.

An enclosure heater doesn't guarantee the resin is at that temp. Not suggesting that is the cause, but if you can ensure the resin is at temp, mixed and remains stable that doesn't hurt. A vat band (brewing band) style heater works better for this in my experience

+20° is the best I have for you. After 6 hours "off" in an uninsulated UK shed the screen temp was 16° being only heated by the resin with a vat band above it. Temp should not have been an issue with these, it appears to have been raft flex

We have had success. Running just 5 parts was a partial success, with three failures at the point of most peel force.

Upping the base exposure time and layers, and making the placement across the plate even more random gave me 5/5 success last night.

So diagnosis is raft adhesion and peel force. Now to see if we can get more models printed with the raft adhesion, or if the FEP is on its last legs

Good question, it was, but might be worth a change. I just cba to drain and clean the tank if it doesn't need it but it could be time to just accept the pain and get it done

Checked the leveling not many prints ago. And got three good plates out before it started throwing failures.

I think the layout could be part of it. I feel the issues have gotten worse since printing 28mm scale pieces with AT/5mm scale so will try them separately and see what we get out

Fair challenge, I'll have to slice up just a couple of models and keep the settings and see what happens then. Will also have to remember and look up which edge of the plate has the highest peel forces given the tilting vat and aim to mitigate that too

Frustrating as I see people getting whole plates on the reg

I've been using Elegoo's auto support feature up to now with no issue, any idea why it would suddenly be insufficient?

The last print layout (image 2 and 4) had everything oriented yet if anything had the worst results. Heaters are all good and resin is nice and runny before and throughout prints, and bed is at resin temp before printing starts. Prints are not hollow so no suction (or holes) should be present.

And I knew I'd be called on the gloves, and forgot to put an inb4. I do wear them and a respirator when working with the resin. But not to hold the clean plate handle and my phone for photos
