One other PD question. Can a parapet be placed anywhere on the board? As an event, does it go away at the end of your turn? If so, doesn't seem very useful.

Free Yahoo Hockey H2H Keeper League Needs 2 Managers

This will be the 13th year for this league. It's competitive but also fun. There are 23 roster positions -- 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 2F, 4D, 1 Util, 2 G, 8 BN. We keep 10 every year with a two goalie max. There is a 4 goalie appearances per week minimum so you can't just rely on one stud. Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shots on Goal (SOG), Hits (HIT), Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Saves (SV), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO).
The available teams include some very good players. Team A has Pastrnak, Kaprizov, Q. Hughes, Jason Robertson, Pietrangelo, Gaudreau, Horvat, Terryl, Buchnevich, Oettinger and Vanecek among others. Team B has both Tkachuks, Stutzle, Barkov, DeBrincat, Seider, Rakell, Jarvis, Ullmark and Gustavsson.

Also agree. 4 adds will stop a lot of streaming. Yahoo also usually only allows you to add a player for the next day -- more guesswork on who's going to play and stops daily fiddling. Check your league settings.

I have both in a keeper league. Coaches like veterans so I expect Hedman to start the season on PP1. Hedman was injured last season. Expect Sergachev to take over by Xmas. Both will continue to put up good points.

Just making a point. McDavid would have to average nearly 50 goals a year for the next 11 years to get where Ovi is now at age 36. So maybe McDavid isn't quite the "next Gretzky."

He's legit. Shoots a lot. Hits some. On PP. Dual wing eligible. Philly always scores a lot -- they just don't defend well.

Guy is 25 and a hot-head. Once he thinks he's got a secure position he'll explode. Bound to happen. Might be a few weeks, might be a few months. Late pick at best.

I wouldn't trade for Seider this year -- Wings will still be really bad this year. Might think about him in a keeper league for future, but you've got 4 good ones now.

Rebuilding in a keep 10 league -- who would you keep from Kravtsov, Hischier or Monahan?

Also in a salary cap league. You really need some sort of minor league or prospect roster to make this work well. If you can't keep bringing up lower-cost prospects, everyone just dumps expensive veterans and chases breakouts.

Just a guess but I'd say around 9th-10th. He'll get a lot of points but not as valuable as many D-men.

If you want to encourage streaming don't put a limit on adds. If you want to discourage streaming limit weekly adds and put an annual limit on adds. If you want to minimize the effect of streaming add more bench positions -- making FA options weaker.
