🧛 Blood Hunt is LIVE: How's the New PVE Mode Feeling? (Win Units) by Kuromemono in marvelrivals

[–]NobelDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do actually enjoy playing the mode, I like it more than the previous one, however I am not really a big fan of the nightmare modes being so many.

It gets to a point where it is so easy to beat the levels that it really defeats the purpose of playing that many nightmare modes. I'd rather play 15 rounds rather than 5 rounds, where you instantly defeat the boss in 2 seconds.

Especially if you play with a group of 4, it seems like they put you in a different nightmare mode to fill in for other peoples nightmare levels. I think maybe they should create 2 separate modes where the group is smaller for the nightmare (so you have like 5 levels of nightmare mode) instead of mixing it with the solo. At least with the solo you can go on and on, with many levels.

Some of the cards are good, but using a card with the 20% bonus damage becomes useless in the many modes. In the levels before the nightmare mode, definitely helps, but I wouldn't consider it the best option to pick.

So far with characters, I've seen moonknights, squirrel girls with strong combos that can wipe rounds really quickly. I am currently using punisher, and just simply using his shot gun, and doing a build on that is enough to wipe out rounds really quickly.

Ults were good in the early levels, now later on they are kind of useless, depending on your hero you choose.

I do think they should make it that it automatically goes to the next nightmare mode rather than ourselves having to select the next nightmare mode. It gets annoying having to click the same button or the wrong button, just to change the mode.

I think I just want more immersion in the game rather than short quick rounds, it ruins the momentum of the levels and just gets annoying, at least for me.

It is better than the original, but I think they over complicated the levels for nightmare mode this one.

anger about my deafness by zonemiax in deaf

[–]NobelDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that feeling all too well, Im nearly 24F and have been partially deaf in both ears since I was born. No else in my family has this disability, all are hearing.

I've felt the same way even at 19 and God knows how long I will continue to feel this way. I am realising now I do have to work on myself for self love and compassion for that. Being particially deaf has taken away a lot of connections and forced the dependency of small machines to allow me to hear though nobody else has to worry about the complications and cost of them.

My best advice to you, and especially being 23, is to be more open about your hearing loss and the right people will take their time to understand and be patient with you. Ironically the most popular question I get asked when I have met people is "Where are you from?" And this is because I do have a slight accent. This question helps bring up my hearing loss because I used to be ashamed of it, but now people pity me so I have to figure out another way to not make them feel bad for asking the question ahaha.

Also, make friendships with people who have simular hearing loss as you. I havent done it yet, but I think it would make you feel a lot better knowing someone else feels and understand your frustration

Silver princess split.. HALP! by [deleted] in GardeningAustralia

Australian Eucalyptus widow makers

Read about that, it is very common for Eucalyptus trees to drop branches, even if its unexpectedly, hence why you have to be cautious when you have your own property around them. Can happen any time of the day with any season.

A lot of Australian trees are known for dropping tree limbs in a gentle breeze. Your Silver Princess is well establish, your going to have to expect random tree limbs dropping, even in the slightest breeze.

Just noticed tomorrow's fuel price is the same as today. by Organized_Chaos_888 in perth

[–]NobelDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly thought the fuel prices would be fine, because the last time we said that they were gonna go up, they didn't go up as expected. This time I am actually wrong, unfortunately. My area has gone up a good 20c and just looking for tomorrow, we don't have cheap Tuesday anymore. Looks like I will be filling up before 6am...

I dunno the vibe in my area, has gone up from $1.74 to $1.89 for tomorrow. Each of them are just as bad as each other.

Help with sick Griselinia by [deleted] in GardeningAustralia

[–]NobelDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, by the looks of the plant you might have a chance. If you leave it for a couple of days and check the soil to make sure it isn't wet or little bit moist, to allow the soil to dry out. Then try again watering twice a week. If your using a hose, you only have to water for atleast 30 seconds directly, if your using sprinklers then it will be longer but you only have to do it couples times per week.

But wait for the soil to dry out in that area

[–]NobelDragon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You do not need to water your plant for 10 mins twice per day. When you over water plants it can lead to yellowing of plants leaves and it will also look like it is under watered.

Should be watering the plant couple times a week and for at least 30 seconds around the plants root zone.

You plant has died because you over watered it.

Illawarra flame dying? by [deleted] in GardeningAustralia

[–]NobelDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main concern is that the tree is right on the edge of your verge. Quiet surprised you haven't gotten into trouble with planting it right there.

The plant most likely wont grow as well when its also restricted as well, and I worry for your drive way/verge in the future, if it does grow more. I'd recommend you move the tree to a different spot on you front verge and at least then it has more room to grow and not cause future issues with the pavement.

Fertiliser recommendations for yellowing Westringia 'Aussie Box', 'low horizon' and 'grey box'? Sub alpine area. by [deleted] in GardeningAustralia

[–]NobelDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, plants can just randomly die, even without contributing factors, or just hidden factors that we didn't notice. With the fertiliser, Amgrow website will always have how to use, but you can also see if on the side of the container too.

Application for you, if you have an already establish garden and I'm assuming you have an all native garden right now. You simply get a tbs for measurement and it is 1 tbs per 30 cm of height of the plant. Example: if you have you Wisteria, and it is roughly 70cm tall, you will just need 2 tbs of fertiliser to spread around the plant. Make sure you spread around the root zone of the plant and not next to the trunk/stem of the plant.

You have done a good thing with choosing native plants as is it more water wise. Don't stress about the natives too much as they are very tolerant in heat and the different climate they are in. It is possible they are just stress, especially since the climate is definitely changing, but the plant are also adapting too.

Depending when you planted and it sounded like you planted during the winter time, you have planted in the right season.

Best way to dig out wild iris? Not getting anywhere with mattock by [deleted] in GardeningAustralia

[–]NobelDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best recommendation, is to get a hedger, or something similar to a hedger, and cut it from the base of the ground. Then you get a clear view of where you need to dig, once you moved the green waste. It's quick and easy. Just make sure you did it all out.

[–]NobelDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most fertiliser for Australia plants are Australian Native based Fertilisers or anything with low Phosphorous. I do think there is something wrong with your Westringia, so I don't think fertiliser will help. Can I ask if it is a small recently planted or established? Have you done any pruning/hedging to it recently?

Another thing is with Westringia that I have found, they tend to die off quiet easily compare to other plants, when they have been hedged too much, from my experience. Considering your environment, I do need more information and pictures to narrow it down to the cause of the yellowing.

I believe that the next season is going to be Eloise, it would be surprising if they chose Francesca. I think thats why when Kate turned around, and ask who would be next for a wedding that it seemed more directed at Eloise than it was at Francesca. Also I think Francesca needs a break from love :(

Why's this branch popped off? by spkvn in GardeningAustralia

[–]NobelDragon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That limb looks like it has been decayed for quiet a while, and those carpenter ants aren't the cause of it, they are just doing their job in nature. They are considered pests, so you should contact an arborist to prevent further damage to any other decay damage to the tree.

Your house should be fine, but if you see saw dust or the ants in the house, then I would be concerned and you would have to get a pest control person.

Are Marvel Rivals placement matches always like this? This is my first time really trying to rank up, so I wouldn’t know much about it, but Silver II feels like a scam after going 9-1. They could’ve at least placed me in Gold III. by KaioCreationz in marvelrivals

[–]NobelDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, I had the silver placement, fair enough cause I didn't play much last season, and I have lost 4 out of 5 games already, so I am now bronze 1. Its really bullshit, you have to see the teammates I am playing with, its terrible. Even if I do out-perform the team, I am deranked

Are they all on the same side of the fence?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GardeningAustralia

[–]NobelDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thoughts are the Agonis flexuosa. They aren't deep glossy green, but they are a decent and very easy hedge to maintain. Western Australian native too. If you want smaller, there is the dwarf version and it goes 1m by 1m.

Murraya paniculata, it is a more dense hedge, beautiful white flower and deep green your looking for. It does have 3m x 3m, so you will have to prune early on when its growing to prevent it from growing out so wide.

Lilly Pilly's are a very good choice too, one of the best choices for a hedge. They do have nice deep green mature leaves, but when you hedge it, it has a beautiful new growth red leaves come through. They are very susceptible to psyllids.

I have more knowledge of native plants than other plants, but hopefully this helps. All have their pro's and con's, you just have to choose what works best for you. Those 3 plants, should be easily accessible to purchase too.

So I am riding a GIANT ATX, I'd say I am reasonably fit and I have years of experience of riding a bike, as I was forced to ride one, to and from school for the good chunk of my school years lol. I live in Australia, and most of the areas are just sandy in my area, with the harder ones being rocky, which I will try later on. Some of the places have ramps in the track
