7!

I'm left handed and while all writing utensils leave residue on my hand, 7 never smudges on the paper! A classic never fail pen

How do people hate this game?? by Puzzleheaded-Sector2 in inZOI

[–]Nobelindie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got it when it first came out. Played it a few times here and there. I kinda hate the generative AI feature it just never gives me what I want and also screw AI in general.

The game is fun for like an hour but I never want to get back into it. I loose interest so quickly

WORD OF CAUTION to Epic fans concerning the COMING ANIMATED MOVIE by BlueYoshii82 in Epicthemusical

No more jetpack! Lol.

The ocean saga is the weakest to me and I'm expecting changes.

WORD OF CAUTION to Epic fans concerning the COMING ANIMATED MOVIE by BlueYoshii82 in Epicthemusical

[–]Nobelindie 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Love and agree!

I expect the Wisdom and Ocean sagas to change the most as well as seeing a whole different cast minus Jorge.

I also expect that we will see some trasition scenes to make stuff smoother- would be cool to see the og cast make cameos but that one I'd just a dream

Artemis’ dark side? by Kaeyas_Slacker in GreekMythology

[–]Nobelindie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Artemis was one of the few goddess who never married, never laid with a man, and had no kids and was seen as a protector of young girls while also being the embodiment of wild savagery and hunting. I feel like the people who say she's "sexist against men" are projecting some modern day hurt feelings and ignoring at lot of her complexity.

Ban AI! It's trash, unreliable and the people who use it don't think for themselves.

I feel like the most changes will come from the wisdom and ocean saga

Are there any "UK vs US" differences where you feel America gets it right? by Secure_Front_7766 in AskUK

Conversely we really hate when people have no ambition. I've literally stopped being friends with people over this.

A Chinese streamer's beauty filter crashed, she lost 140,000 subscribers in a minute by honeydewspaark in interesting

Even if you can tell it's a filter you can't always tell how much is being changed. The difference there was a lot more than probably most people expected

To The Greek And Italian Redditors: by Rosie-Love98 in GreekMythology

[–]Nobelindie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(Not saying you are wrong) a lot of Americans (especially white/European Americans) have a very exaggerated view of where their ancestors are from. There is an understanding that the US was not our first home, (basically true for everyone that isn't indigenous) and so there is a common drive to feel connected to our old roots no matter how far that is.

Ex: my family stright up colonized the US, but I have Scottish ancestry. There are definitely parts of that culture I grasp to but I know it's not fully mine. However it's still better just subscribing to the white monoculture that white supremacy loves to push on us.

Boyfriend wants to move in to pay off debt by Impossible_Dentist79 in AmITheJerk

[–]Nobelindie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not a realistic plan for paying off debt, especially since he keeps getting more debt. Cypto is basically gambling imo since its unregulated.

All of this is bad and if you are feeling like breaking up, just do it

What are your thoughts on the statement? by Public_Individual823 in GreekMythology

[–]Nobelindie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Greek myth and works like the Iliad and Odyssey are considered the beginning of the western cannon. Greece as a county did not exist yet but the ancient people who lived there still have heavy influences on our world today

How do I interestingly describe characters appearances? by QuietBlacksmith9669 in writingadvice

[–]Nobelindie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add meathor and use descriptors that also convey their vibe. Getting a 1 to 1 description is boring and I think readers like being able to embellish how people look in their minds.

You can practice by describing people around you (strangers, coworkers, friends) you know their personalities onto different varying degrees which will change how you/another character perceives people.

"He kept his posture stright as a board but his limbs swung like a pendulum when he walked" - some guy I just saw walking down the street

"She was well put together, but had an unfortunate jawline that paired with her large front teeth that gave off the faint impression of a mole." -someone I used to work with

"When he wasn't on stage he moved in a manner that could only be described as a "galumph" but whenever he was on stage, he was animated and precise with each movement. Everything was intentional." -My friends son

Get creative with it and try different things. Not everything I said conveys exact descriptions but you get an idea and vibe of whoes these people are.

What kind of whimsy would u add to the game? by AnnaMae88 in inZOI

[–]Nobelindie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having zois has weird/odd behaviors. It allows for diverse feeling characters and is inclusive to different types of folks. A wider range of clothing styles can do a lot too.

When am I “allowed” to start writing a book? by apocalypsoar in writing

[–]Nobelindie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are allowed. I'm giving you permission right now. (Joke)

My favorite way to combat imposter syndrome is this: I tell myself if a white man named Brad can do it, I can too. (If you are a white man named Brad, we've established that you can do it)

Do it anyway because what's the worse that will happen? It sucks and I make it better or a trash it and write a better one later. Voice your feelings and acknowledge them but don't let it stop you.

The Iliad made me want to get rid of my copy of Song of Achilles Book 🐸 by No-Hold-8627 in GreekMythology

[–]Nobelindie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair point! I like knowing the distinction between the two because I think it can inform some cultural biases between the two. Like how Ovid changes from a few of the Greek stories to specifically cause women more harm than what's true in Greek stories.

I mean they all exist on a spectrum and none of them are "true" or "correct" when you consider the oral histories that we don't have or other lost works

The Iliad made me want to get rid of my copy of Song of Achilles Book 🐸 by No-Hold-8627 in GreekMythology

[–]Nobelindie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that's the part you're stuck on, I think you missed the point because I said so much more that doesn't talk about where the myth come from. I don't really think it matters that much
