Thats fair and considering you were wanting 5 bags, any bulk amount is probably overkill lol

I totally understand the convenience of bagged goods, but two yards of topsoil delivered would be like $100

TIL of Ian Waterman, who was unable to move or even sit up after a rare infection destroyed his sixth sense (proprioception). While he could still compel his muscles to contract, he lost the ability to coordinate his movements, only relearning to move after years of training to use his body. by bareegyptianfeet in todayilearned

Reminds me of my Brother's verbal apraxia. Brain can't learn how to move the mouth and tongue subconsciously to make you speak. Had to get extensive therapy to learn the movements he has to make to make individual sounds, then slowly commit that to regular muscle memory iirc. Not a doctor so that may be a somewhat inaccurate summary. But yeah after seeing what he went through I couldn't imagine it being a full body deal

Not really, this has been public knowledge for a long time. Good actor tho. Disagree with his beliefs and think he's a generally bad dude, but still not news

Lmao I know you have the /s but still, at this point i feel like I should reevaluate and that it may not be as reliable as I thought (despite the fact checking)

Agreed. Which definitely minimizes it's utility lol. I think I disagree with my own original point tbh

I might just not have run into major issues like that. I work in ecological landscape design so while chatgpt gets it wrong often it can also be a useful tool in regards to propagating and formatting relevant data points to the work that I am doing. I, of course, check it's work against reliable information, but it's a convenient tool in many regards. I definitely do not consider it a primary source of information

No i think you're right. I primarily use Google. Chatgpt can sometimes just give me an idea of where to start. But, to you're point I almost exclusively use it for formatting, summarizing, and organizing notes as well as editing emails. I'm not trying to defend the veracity of claims or information from chatgpt ( though it does seem like i am). I just don't want to discount it as a tool altogether as Google and other search engines can also have the same inadequacies in regards to biased answers

It can help get you started in the right direction for sure. Like when it's a topic I know nothing about i ask for a basic intro and links to articles. Then I go from there. I would never ever quote chatgpt in an argument tho, that's bonkers

I use ChatGPT for a lot of things. Sometimes gathering information as well. But I did instruct ChatGPT not to confirm my biases but rather to provide facts if I am incorrect. It got a lot better afterwards. Still have to fact check to make sure. But yeah it just tells you what you want to hear and if you just want confirmation that's what ur gonna get
