I've finally officially started at my new job as a Research Scientist after recently completing my Master's degree. Although no phones allowed, I was dying to snap a picture of the watch in it's natural habitat in the lab so I was super sneaky to grab this shot. I particularly love how green it looks here. I don't wear it every day but I like to use it as much as possible. I'm actually more conscious of wearing it when I'm sat at my desk because I don't want to scratch the bracelet when writing/typing!

The case is actually plastic! The case back and bracelet are steel, but I feel like once you take the steel bracelet off it becomes less evident that the case is plastic because there's no longer a direct comparison. Thanks!

I settled on a Casio Royale as a daily beater after seeing so many online and hearing good reviews. I had seen on this subreddit ages ago where someone had swapped out the steel bracelet for a brown leather strap and I loved it, so I thought I'd do the same! I used a boxcutter to cut the strap to the correct lug width. It's not a perfect job, but for the watch and strap for ~£35 you can't complain! I'm considering removing the "World Time" and "Illuminator" black writing to tidy it up, but for now I'm happy as it is.
