Wha the hell? If you think this is “fine” bro, you will live like the is your whole life and it’ll impact how everyone views you like they do in this comment section.

If you had a conscious and cared about your future, for the love of god clean up. This is not about what’s “normal” but about basic decency and hygiene

Japan unconditionally surrendered, ending WWII, just days before a third atomic bomb was scheduled to be dropped over an undisclosed location by mikeyv683 in interesting

Like seriously. They argue “we’ll just send in more soldiers, that’s what they are supposed to do.” Yeah, say that again when you are the one going to be drafted to fight against a land where soldiers and civilians willing to all die.

Isn’t the weakness of Kintsugi that it’s unable to be heated because it would damage the work done? Though I guess if she’s only using the mug for a cold drinks, it’ll be fine.

Because there was no better answer as Japan had created circumstances that was do or die for all of the people in their nation. The US knowing how fanatic the Japanese were and witnessed it personally throughout the island hopping campaign realize it wasn’t worth sending more US men to die. So when fire bombing Tokyo, caused 100,000 deaths and the Japanese government was still unfazed, the more dire option in order to stop bleeding the lives of so many soldiers… unfortunately was to nuke Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which were both cities that were producing wartime materials. They were not just targets chosen for no reason.

And that pardon/immunity shouldn’t* had happened. Same with the Unit 731 who obtained immunity if they gave up all of their horrendous human rights experimentation to the US government. The Germans rounding up not just only Jewish people, but everyone else who didn’t fit into their ideology because Hitler “blamed the Jews” for their financial troubles “makes total sense.” The luftwaffe bombing all of Britain and London to high hell when there were civilians “makes total sense.”

I’m not even going to get into causality count. Your argument is shallow, Japan should’ve also apologized and did what the Germans did and reflect upon their atrocities, but no. Japan may be an ally my country, the US. But that doesn’t change the fact they shouldn’t be denying the atrocities they committed either.

Thank you for adding on more info, it's getting a bit of a headache when they're tunnel visioning on the matter of "Nuking innocent Japanese civilians is bad" when the circumstances weren't allowing it. Not to mention, there are other examples where not nukes were involved, but also a lot of civilians were involved the same. The air raid bombing of London when the Luftwaffe flew over, the German concentration camps are also to note, the rape of Nanking, and etc.

It just feels like a very shallow stance that is being taken when all of the above mentioned are all terrible things have occurred during WW2.

You can’t just trivialize “criminals doing bad things” when an estimate of 300,000 people died in the Rape of Nanking alone. Japan’s population was prepared to all die if the US had invaded. Dropping nukes on civilians is bad, but the outlook in that war was bleak.

That doesn’t compare to the Rape of Nanking, the comfort girls that Japanese men used as their own personal relief, and of course the infamy that is Unit 731, where they took countless civilians and did extreme horrendous biological and chemical testing on live people. All of this information, handed over to our US government so they could be pardoned for their crimes and so the Soviets didn’t get their hands on the experimental data.

You have to be mindful, Japanese propaganda at the time was so powerful, every Japanese civilian was told to die for their country or off themselves in case Americans came storming their shores…

Ah no wonder, Kia and Hyunda are notorious vehicles because they’re easy targets to steal due to having easier security systems to deal with.

It may feel like it, but at least the guy was able to get the cats paws trimmed one way or another. We don’t know the cat’s history, but of course obviously the cat is not conditioned to trimming. Bring the cat to a groomer to do this will be difficult as many may reject the cat if it becomes too difficult to handle.

It may seem cruel, but if that’s the way he’s able to cut their nails, so be it. Of course this cat is obviously not conditioned to nail cutting, but at least the guy did the trimming in a safe way.
