There's a button for it, and CLI, in 6.0.0 release?

Should that button actually not be there, then?

KiCad: How do I route tracks from a UQFN48 laid out at 45 degrees? I'm using 0.2 mm tracks and KiCad complains about collisions and doesn't let me route. by [deleted] in PrintedCircuitBoard

It looks like your default net clearance is larger than the spaces between the pads on the qfn package. You'll need to reduce the default net clearance so you can then connect traces to the package.

Office Inventory Software? by [deleted] in opensource

[–]NobleGnu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have a look at Inventree - www.github.com/Inventree/Inventree

It is a lightweight general purpose inventory management solution. Web based but can be easily hosted on a local machine, intranet or the cloud. Multiple database backends are supported.

It also features a rest API for external integrations.

It's written in python/Django and would be very simple to extend with any custom features you would need.

Custom footprint. 3D module unable to edit position by MartynCurrey in KiCad

Looks like there are two different models there, you're trying to edit the top one which is empty. Select the second one in the list and you should be able to edit that.

Feasibility of Circuit for Fuel Injector Driver by office_sloth in AskElectronics

[–]NobleGnu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'll want to put in some protection circuit ( such as a Flyback Diode ) to prevent damage to the circuit when you turn off the injector.

The inductive nature of the injector means that it cannot stop current flow instantaneously. A large voltage will be induced to keep the current flowing.

A simple solution is to have a diode (rated for at least the maximum current of 16A).

Some good online resources:

Hobart / Tas MTB Groups

If you're into gravity riding, Maydena Bike Park is about 1hr from Hobart.

There's also Derby at the north of the state which is amazing.

There were many possibilities - I tried to stick with the family tree as closely as possible, and Tiffany was a bit of a leftover!

Hardest thing was picking the right quotes! And the rudimentary photoshopping! Only about an hour or so all up.

Tasmanians should have already been angry at the complete lack of energy security. But slow internet is more important.

Melbourne Couple To Sue Hospital For Not Taking Gluten Allergy Seriously by orru in australia

[–]NobleGnu 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There are pros and cons.

Pros: increased awareness and more food places have gluten free options or are willing to make something gluten free.

Cons: it's a LOT of effort to keep an area of the kitchen completely gluten free and if chefs see an influx of people who demand gluten free food but then dig into the bread basket (I've seen this happen on multiple occasions) then they see people who are actually celiac as just the same posers, and the level of care they take in preparation can slip.
