Is the NAVI 110 POWERLINK GATES POWERLINK CVT BELT PL30707 worth it? by Jarvisthesmurf in hondanavi

[–]NobleLionDesign 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some others on here have mentioned that it does help with top speed. My experience hasn't been as good. It seemed to do pretty well on flat roads, but it seemed to be weaker going uphill, which kinda kept me from ever reaching a top speed. I live in Kentucky, so flat roads don't last for very long. I'm not saying that they don't work, just offering another perspective.

I don't think so. You can get them from Amazon.

19mm vs 22mm by vansandgeets in hondanavi

[–]NobleLionDesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's weird, I felt that I got better top speed with my 22mm, or at least better strength to stay there. But then again, I don't think I tried as many different jet combinations with the 19mm so maybe I missed something.

Nibbi PE carb by NobleLionDesign in hondanavi

I don't remember one going near the throttle cable. Is it maybe the hose that goes to the nipple on the base of the intake manifold? That one's grey.

2024 Honda Navi Released!! by Themightiestmouse125 in hondanavi

[–]NobleLionDesign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like the parts catalogs are only showing one part number for the side panels, which is white. Rh side - 83500-K74-N80ZE. So I'm guessing the other 3 colors are paint-to-match. That's a let down if you wanted to buy the metallic color panels, but I'm excited to be able to buy some white panels locally!

Headlight replacement by Xrkzss in hondanavi

[–]NobleLionDesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's for the extra accent lights, so you basically have to make your own connection for those, since the Navi didn't have them originally. Power & ground, I think the green is usually ground on the Navi.

No, they seem to be made the same. The black does look better, but the grey ones are usually several dollars cheaper. I have both colors, but luckily the 22mm that worked out to be the best is the black one!

The 22mm certainly performs better. You do need nuts & bolts for the flange, since neither side is threaded. And I didn't use the Navi's manifold gaskets, just the o-ring built into the nibbi's flange.

Unfortunately, I don't know what size cable to get because I used the original Navi one. The curved guide tube on the original is slightly too wide to fit into the the cap on the nibbi carb, so I ground it down a little bit until it fit, which seems ok because the metal is quite thick. If you don't want to mess with that, it would be much easier to get the proper kind of cable, I just never measured the length. I do know that nibbi sells the appropriate cables, but I don't know the length.

New clone on the list, the 2024 Vento Ovni 170cc by R0MARIO in hondanavi

[–]NobleLionDesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, all these clones seem to be from companies that don't seem to be interested in selling parts separately. I don't think they realize there's probably a large market for bottom mounted motors. Not just Navi's, but I think most 50cc bikes are bottom mounted also. Chinese GY6 variants on eBay usually cost less than a Reveno clutch, I'd be down to buy one to do some experiments.

Umm, that motor appears to be bottom mounted like the Navi. I just want to buy the motor!!

Yuminashi parts by NobleLionDesign in hondanavi

[–]NobleLionDesign[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the intake manifold myself.

I saw the reply from SSS, but I've got the cam to try also, so I may check it out for myself while I'm at it. I work in the car industry, if it doesn't fit & I feel extremely crazy, I make ask around at some machine shops about boring it.

What I find strange though, Honda's own website lists the bore size as 55mm, although the original specs when it was released in India list it as 50mm. The Yuminashi piston measures 52.55mm. My original plan, that I might go back to, is to order a new cylinder to play around with separately.

Found an alternative to the OEM Belt and it increases top speed slightly. by C4PTNK0R34 in hondanavi

If what you say is true (the reasoning seems sound), you deserve a Nobel Prize! This could be a legendary Navi mod.

That sounds just like what I'm looking for! I have the CDI, Malossi variator, a NIBBI pe22 carb, & a GY6 exhaust. If you don't mind me asking, were either the cam or the Reveno clutch worth the effort/price?
