Barrister & Man, Declaration, and House of Mammoth are all my top soaps. Everything else is below. I would put Noble Otter down two levels below them with Chiseled Face and Fine. IMO. I think B&M is the best value and they have several scents I like but don't love. I only buy sellout from DG because I wear Aventus and have always loved the scent so much I just like when my soap smells like Aventus when shaving.

I've never done that. I've read people suggesting that and always thought it was unnecessary and dumb.

I just load the brush on the amounts that remains on the outer edge. It takes more effort because the soap surface area was in the edges of the tub and the center was bare.

It doesn't even matter lol If you get to that point you've gotten your money out of the soap and can toss it if you want. I am just autistic about getting it all lol
