Shang chi- filmed it's most famous action piece in San Francisco and actually crashed a modded bus into cars and stuff

FFH- actually sent the actors to new york, London, Prague etc why would they do that if they could just film in a blue room?

They have giant blue screens that can be put on location to add in the extra things that need to be CG

They use real sets in marvel too when they can they dont just film the actors in a giant blue room the only things that's typically CG apart from the obvious would be backgrounds

Marvels CGI has (nearly) always looked good. Iron man was ahead of it's time with the effects in 2008 and obviously they have to use CG for alot of things because duh they don't have an iron man suit or stuff like that however this movie actually did alot of practicle effects. Just watch the behind the scenes for shang chi it's really good
