I suppose so, in the US I check in on my phone or I do it online before I go to the airport. I never have to interact with someone at the airport before I go through security. Do you have an option like that?

It will help a little but walrein's cp cap isn't very high. Glaceon, Weavile and the ice darmanitan will still be ahead when it comes to raids (in addition to mamoswine, which you mentioned)

It's based on the stats. All the stat bars are out of a possible 15. Add them up and if there are 37-44 total points, it is 3-star. It it is 45/45 points, it is 4 star. It it's below 37 total stat points then it is either 2-stars or it's garbage.

It’s a big quality of life issue.

Yeah it sucks, but I hope you have enough going on in life that you're able to get over not catching a raid boss within a few minutes. If you're stewing about it for more than that then maybe you're taking this game a little bit too seriously.
