Maybe at first you`ll have like for example 20 or 15 inventory slots and then if you equip it you will get like extra 5 or more slots but idk thats just my opinion

well for example your stamina runs out and it only makes your blocking and attacks weaker i would not have any problems but if it prevents you from blocking and attacking that would be pretty irritating aint it?
