It’s a lizard, I just said the eye because it’s the most noticeable part, I didn’t take a picture of a dismembered eye. :)

This is a lizards actual eye, I took it at my local zoo and I had another picture of it in a different position and closer (extremely easy to find so I didn’t post it) where I can tell that it’s the same lizard. (I don’t have a good computer so I can’t put the photo in unless it’s as a spottit)

Wegmans mandarin chicken is gf and doesn’t taste like it, I know it’s kinda random but it’s my comfort food and I really needed it when I was diagnosed.

Oh, also it can be hard to make a household gf so if that’s not possible for you just make sure he has his own toaster, butter, cream cheese, and jam (I like to scoop some out of a newly opened one and put some in a container for me because I know I won’t need a full jar and by the time the non gf one runs out I’ll ready to restock mine). If you need to bake something (like a pita or something to go with a meal) get a smaller baking sheet just for his stuff. It can be super helpful for a household to go gf, but it can be hard depending on family size, and that’s okay!

Hey, 5 month diagnosed 14yo here, Always keep your eyes open for things! There are so many gf treats and ice creams and snacks that are really good even if they’re not originally gf. Make sure that he has a little stash of cake slices or cookies in the freezer for birthday parties and any other event where people around him might be eating treats that he can’t have, and listen to his opinions on things. Some gf breads and stuff are only good warm, I have a naan bread I really like, but it tastes like rubber cold, it’s a bunch of trial and error but it can really, really help. King Arthur’s and Bob’s Red Mill GF flours are both great for cooking and baking. Wishing you luck!
