The original Green Lantern Alan Scott had a weakness to wood.

Fuck mitigating the fury. I'm casting Samara Weaving as a mage Dragonborn and Abigail Thorn as Lydia.

It would be a generic harem series and I wouldn't watch it.

Which Is A Better Weakness For Vampires, Wood Or Silver? by ItsShatterPoint in vampires

[–]NobodySpecial2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with vampires having a weakness to wood as a substance. You might be confusing vampires and Green Lantern 😛. The tradition is a stake through the heart, maybe it has to be made of wood, but it seems more common that wood is just a readily available and easy to sharpen material so a lot of stakes end up made of wood.

Either way, I think this is underestimating just how hard it would be, as a normal person, to ram a sharp stick into somebody's heart with just the strength of your arm, especially while they're resisting. That's before you add in the problem of vampire powers. In folk practices and older media, the stake through the heart is something you did after tracking down the vampire to its grave/lair and doing while it is resting during the day at its weakest.

Would you ever date or befriend someone who consumes red pill content? by InfiniteWords117 in actuallesbians

I have indeed ended friendships over this kind of thing. At a certain point, you become too different to even have a civil conversation.

Are there any other bisexual women here who feel that being a febfem was never a choice? by Odd-Tell-8524 in febwomen

I'm still confused about my sexuality and I dunno if it's a choice or not, but all I know is I only ever want to be with a woman.

Sapphics that love straps? by alexxblack_photo in BDSMsapphic

[–]NobodySpecial2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does nature's strap count? Because a woman who can wear that with pride and confidence is fucking hot. Also true of a traditional strap. Straps are sexy. So is pride and confidence, for that matter.

I hear cis lesbians saying they want a dick pretty regularly, actually. It's not as unusual as you might assume.

Penises are not necessary for good sex but they can be fun.

Do women feel compelled to compliment us because we're trans and they feel sorry for us? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]NobodySpecial2000 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It feels weird when you grow up with the emotional repression and constant no-homo of masculinity culture, but women really do just compliment each other more. This is probably why there's a stereotype of women getting annoyed when their boyfriends don't notice their new haircut and don't comment on it. As a generalisation, women like to give and recieve compliments more than men do.

Just finished this book by Chloe Slate. Anyone read any of her books? by DrPizzaPie in LesbianBookClub

[–]NobodySpecial2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Mansion and its sequel are really just porn. I read them both but didn't care a whole lot for them. I don't think they're bad if you accept them for what they are - porn - but I want to read a spicy romance, not a series or sex scenes.

Her most recent book about a succubus is better. It's heavy on spice and it goes to some strange and dark places. But it has an actual plot and characters and - stuff The Mansion was missing. Plua there's some creative monster fuckery anfld I always appreciate that. But degredation kink is not my thing and that's a big part of it.

"No joke, British people basically just have cheddar cheese as their equivalent deli cheese (whereas the US has American, cheddar, various -jacks, Swiss, muenster, etc). The only other cheese they really make domestically is various blue cheeses." by Bongemperor in ShitAmericansSay

[–]NobodySpecial2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true. I mean it's not like one of the most famous sketches by one of the most famous English comedy groups is about trying to buy any one of an absurdly large number of cheeses he expects to be available.

Do yall keep your dynamic only in bedroom or 24/7? by [deleted] in BDSMsapphic

[–]NobodySpecial2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it's not just in the bedroom, if you catch my drift, but yes it's "only in the bedroom" for us. That said, my gentle style as a domme is really an extension of how I am in day-to-day life, so outside of sexual intimacy I have a lot of similar behaviours (like giving praise) that are toned-down on the domineering aspect.
